Basically, which course in Super Mario 64 did you find to be the most annoying? (It doesn't necessarily have to be the one you hated the most, or the one you found the most frustrating...)
(I included the "other" option because I might have missed one or two... And I seriously hope the board doesn't explode from this poll having too many options...)
Personally, I find that there isn't one course in particulart that I find more annoying than the others...although I'm leaning toward Bowser in the Sky because of its unusually annoying usage of shitcycles, which are...well...imagine platforms acting as bicycle pedals. (I don't think I explained that very well...) Another course that I found annoying was Tick Tock Clock, because more than half the platforms in that course move in some way, and if you make them stop, then some places become damn near impossible to reach.

Other: The slide area of Tall Tall Mountain. Oddly enough it's also my favorite part of the game

I thought the whole game was awesome except for the swimming under water levels. Those were annoying.

"Other"? Actually, I didn't miss that one. I counted that slide as being part of Tall Tall Mountain, because, after all, that's where it is...

Definitely, the most annoying stage was Tick Tock Clock, Damn, in that level it was almost impossible to get the 100 coins star without losing like 3 or 4 lives before! And the platforms moving all the time were also another annoying thing of that level. Actually, I think that even Bowser in the Sky, being the last level, wasn't as difficult as Tick Tock Clock. It definitely gets my vote.

tick tock clock, bowser in the sky, and the rainbow ride thingy were my worst levels. though bowers in the sky is now extremly feasable, the other two need to die an untimely death. did mario ever think of BURNING the paintings after he beat the game? I SURE DID.

Yes, all those moving platforms in Tick Tock Clock were annoying as hell...and if you stopped them, it was still a hard course, because you'd end up having made some places damn near impossible to access...especially that one star where you have to ride that big-ass clock hand around, and the place near one of the spinning hearts where, with everything stopped, you'd have to do a side somersault and a wall kick to the next platform above, which had to be perfectly lined up because the platform you had to jump from was about two Mario-widths wide and about twice that much long, and the platform you had to reach was about

Back when I sucked at the game, I would have said Tick Tock Clock, Tall, Tall Mountain, or the second star on the Secret Slide. But now I'm good at all of the game, so I don't know which one to vote for.

Big Boo's Haunt. It wasn't really too annoying, it just wasn't very fun. Especially with all the rooms.

What I did for 100 coins was I entered at 6. It made a few jumps trickier but if you watched carefully it was pretty easy. The advantage of course is that it makes a few parts where something gets in your path periodically *much* easier. Also, with it at 6 it's also possible (albeit difficult) to get all 8 red coins, so I actually got every coin in the level. While definitely one of the harder courses it is by no means as hard as you claim.

But it's a sub-area... It's not really in the same area, it could have made its own bonus course.

The title made me laugh. possible spoilers. I mean sure, there may be spoilers, but who hasnt beaten that game if they have played it?

For me the most annoying was Cool Cool Mountain. Stupid snowmans head would always roll off the side. Took me forever to figure out how to get it onto its body.

Well...what I did to get the 100-coin star was enter at 12 to stop all those damn platforms from moving around. Of course, I also had to do that awkward side-somersault/wall-kick thing, but it made everything except that part a bit easier.

But you need to enter Tall Tall Mountain to access it. Same with the boat in Jolly Roger Bay, the slide in Cool Cool Mountain, the igloo in Snowman's Land, the pyramid in Shifting Sand Land, the volcano in Lethal Lava Land, and Wiggler's cave in Tiny-Huge Island. I made an exception for the Metal Cap switch course in Hazy Maze Cave because it contains a cap switch, and I made another exception for Bowser in the Fire Sea because it's one of the Bowser courses.

You need to play Bob-Omb Battlefield before you can play any of the other courses, are they part of it? Or better yet, you should group every level except the Invisibility Cap switch course as Princess Peach's Castle :p

Seriously, though, the difference between all of those and this is that the slide level in Tall Tall mountain is entered just like a regular level, except the wall is inside another level itself.

Erm...first off, "Princess Peach's Castle" isn't a course. And the other courses aren't located in Bob-omb Battlefield, so that idea doesn't work either.

Also, it doesn't matter how you enter the Tall Tall Mountain Slide; what does matter is that it's located in the Tall Tall Mountain course. That's why I considered it part of Tall Tall Mountain.

Ya know, I could be as childish about this as you two are being and say that they arent courses, they are levels or something. But I wont.

1. What part of :p do you not understand?

2. And yet you listed Metal Cap Switch Course as one, and it's the only other one entered the same way as a course inside a course... And no, I don't buy your reasoning about that.

The fact that ":p" doesn't show up as "" for some reason.
