| 1st: I changed my hacks name to SMW3: Bowser's Return, because some people said to me, that SMW2 is Yoshi's Island. 2nd: I changed some of the GFX in world 2, which you will see when the new demo is out. 3rd: I completely changed the OW. | It all looks great, I like how you replaced one of the sprites with Mildes, although I do think the YI cave tileset is getting a bit overused now. My favorite screen is the second to last...that BG is completely awesome. Good job. | |||

| Very nice, such vivid colours for you overworld. One thing I HATE is that your ground grass tiles on the overworld are those dots. I have the EXACT same thing in my hack. I cant say you copied me, seeing as I haven't really released any shots. 1st shot: I WANT THAT BG!!! That bg is way to cool. Very good job! 2nd shot: Very nice. I love overworld shots  Just with that waterfall, make it look like its falling behind the land. It looks like its falling onto the land, but theres no lake there...3rd shot: Quite full, I dont perticulary like it, but thats just me. All cave shots Love them all, very nice! 9th shot: Dark, I like dark levels 10-13th shot: I like the Bg, not much else to say. 14th shot: OMG. Very nice tileset!! Awesome rip! 15th shot: Not much to say about this either. Is that ball a ball n' chain replacement or a custom sprite? Overall, I can't wait to play this game! Very nice work keeping the status bar palettes normal!! |

| Awesomely awesome screens. I really like all of them. Since I think they are all cool, I have to be really critical. 1st shot: Use the SMB font to make the 3, it will go along with the title better, move the copyright thing down one spot. 2nd shot: Cool OV, for the font colors though, the two dont contrast enough, it makes the number look blury. 3rd shot:Looks like someone littered everywhere. Heh Still looks good. 4th shot: Rex looks like NES gfx, not enough colors. Ya think there is enough shyguys stuck in the ground? 5th shot: Good rips, boring shot 6th shot: same 7th shot: same 8th shot: Good rips 9th shot: Beautiful 10th shot: Good rips 11th shot: same 12th shot: same 13th shot: same 14th shot: Looks really cool, for some reason I dont like the blue white blocks. | Looking pretty good so far, my only complaints would be that the YI cave is a bit overused and the big city background in the 9th pic is a bit strange for a mario level, the environments in mario games have no buildings at all apart from medieval looking castles and old mansions. | |||

@Kratos Aurion: Um, does it really matter if his Chain Chomp looks like Anitiki's Chain Chomp, because Anitiki's Chain Chomp looks a lot like the one from SMAS (hmm?, I wonder  ).And it looks like the Sprite he replaced was Wiggler (I think almost anybody would use that Sprite for a Chain Chomp, so that's not really stealing any ideas now is it). So, how is what he's doing considered stealing from Anitiki? To me, it sounds like you two just don't like each other, that's all .(My intention isn't to be an ass, I'm just stating what seems to be the facts of the situation here) But besides all that. @Hidden Mario: I think your hack looks very well made .(edited by Atma X on 09-22-04 01:42 AM) |
