Yeah, I've been pretty much absent from the forums for a while, and as such I became a couple months behind on the monthly layout thing. So I said to heck with it, it's time for some turtle power.

Pretty basic stuff here, there's links and quotes:
It's not the pizza- it's the thing that came with the pizza!
... And all that good stuff.

Enjoy

Cool, I am gonna make a new layout soon, now that I am learning CSS and stuff. Need to get rid of the pirate hook, got in trouble for being too piratey.

It seems like it'll be difficult to distinguish links from just making text bold.

But the layout is awesome, as always. When it stretches, will the stuff in the middle just stretch with it.

Yeah, the middle stretches.

Anything implementing Turtles in Time kicks ass by my vote.

Ah, that layout is awesome. I used to watch Turtles when I was little and I have Turtles in Time on my computer...

The background looks like it comes from a NES game...

Yes, the speed-lines or whatever in the middle stretches.

I'll fix the links when I get home.

Now, to show its power of vertical stretching!

I never had this or a SNES when I was little, so I can't have fond memories of it. This makes me a sad panda. However, the layout itself kicks ass, and the action lines are great. I hope you can continue with this tradition in October with another new layout.

SNES TMNT (as well as almost the ENTIRE TMNT series of games) is your typical walk-around-and-beat-the-crap-out-of-everyone-who-keeps-getting-in-your-way arcade style game.

Nice job on the layout JD, I recognized that almost immediately.

A fond memory of the game I had was that I used to sometimes do nothing but go to the sound test in options menu, so I could listen to the music, and my brothers didn't like that, so they said "don't do that too much, you'll break the game", and I believed them for a while.

Once again, you reek of brilliance.

That was THE game back in the day. THE game. I still remember the original arcade cabinet. Good times, good times...

Well...

The first game for the NES had overworld maps and could be considered a sort of platforming/adventure mix like Zelda II: The Adventures of Link.

TMNT III: Radical Rescue for Gameboy was a pracitcally maze-like adventure game, ala Metroid.

And the three TMNT: Tournament Fighters (for NES, SNES, Genesis) were fighting games like Street Fighter II (Note: Though the three Tournament Fighters games have the same name, they're very different. Controls, graphics, story, selectable characters, stages... everything about the games. The SNES one is the best, the NES one isn't bad, especially for an NES fighter, and the Genesis one was programmed by a monkey.)

All the rest of them are arcade-style beat 'em ups, though
