| Nijiru looks around quickly before pointing out a building to Ultimanium. "From the top of that skyscraper, we'll have a better stage to launch into the clouds from." Nijiru takes off towards the building, which neither Ultimanium nor he knew currently housed Wakko, Shirl, and Taffy. Around half way there, Nijiru questioned, "You're getting pretty heavy, and I can't fly as fast as I normally can carrying you. You're a ki warrior, use your ki to fly." With that said, Nijiru dropped Ultimanium and show towards the skyscraper. |

| Ultimanium dropped out of Nijiru's grip, falling a bit before slowing to a stop in midair. He floated back up to his level, shaking his head as he rose at a casual pace up the face of the building. Ultimanium: This is still going to hurt, you know. |

| (Backing up joost a teensy bit...) Taffy: (thinks) I'm still not sure exactly what we're going to do yet, but it couldn't hurt to change out my weapon, in case something unexpected happens. A flash of light appears in Taffy's right hand. It fades, revealing a silver-colored Keyblade. With her other hand, she attaches a keychain to the bottom of the weapon: instantly, it changes form. "Silver Aegis" has become "Hawk Mace." Meanwhile, something seems to get Shirley's attention. She ventures out of the building just enough to look at the sky. Taffy: Hmm? What is it? Shirley: I sense something. Well, actually, like...two somethings. Two people...I think. Like, really really strong people.* (She puts a hand to her head and closes her eyes, motioning for silence.) Umm... (points to what would have been the horizon, then up some, toward the sky. She does this again, as if to make sure of something.) Yeah. That way. Taffy and Wakko both join her, looking dubiously up in the direction she indicated, but of course it's hard to see anything against the sky. Taffy: ....Are you sure? Shirley: I'm totally serious! I like, totally swear there's two people up there! Taffy: In a plane, or something? Wakko: (shakes his head) We would hear it, if it was a plane. Taffy: (looks back up at the sky, frowning) You think...? Shirley: ...yeah...um, like, kinda...I know you can't see- Taffy: (smiles, reassuring) Actually...I believe you. Shirley: ....Really? Taffy: Mm-hmm. You haven't lied to me before, right? (Shirley shakes her head, relieved.) So...how do we get their attention? Wakko rummages deep into his traveling bag again, finally pulling out a couple of glowing orange directing cones. He grins and waves them around. Taffy: It's a start, but....Shirl? You think "Pepper" will do the job? Shirley: (draws out a thin black wand) Fer sure. Taffy: All righty...hang on to that fire, then. Don't want them to think we're attacking. .....Ready? Shirley casts 'Nulshock' on the party once again. All three run out of the building: Shirley and Taffy shout "Superpepper!!" at the top of their lungs, causing the ends of their weapons to light up like torches. They wave them around and shout more random stuff, Wakko does the same with his lights. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- *OOC: Er, m'Lord, I know your character's not technically human, but Shirley doesn't know that yet. She's just describing what she senses as best she can.  |

OOC: Raku, just call me Rahl.  And the fact they don't know will add to the surprise when Nijiru lands. Noticing what appeared to be torches being swung around like crazy at the base of the skyscraper he was headed to, Nijiru stopped his flight for a moment. I really should head to the top of that building, but it wouldn't hurt check out who's doing that and if they need any help. Nijiru resumed his travels towards the building and thought, They must have good eyes to have spotted me against those clouds. As he got to the building, although still a couple hundred feet in the air, Nijiru pulled his wings close to him, causing him to plummet towards the ground. Every twenty to fifty feet, Nijiru pumpped his wings to slow his descent. As he neared fifty feet, he pumped his wings one last time before they appeared to sink into his back. He landed in a crouch before standing up and looking at the three beings around him. "I take it the crazy swingging of a light source was to get me to land. Could I help you in anyway?" Nijiru asked kindly. |

I have amnesia, so I'm not sure whats going exactly, but I think we'll need those. By the way, can I interest you in this car? Its not in the best condition, but, as you can see, it is very well-built and durable. |

| Sidenote: In this story, Drag is his full dragon self, except scaled to proportion (so he's not towering over everyone at dragon heights. ). He's not in his Drag.5 (the sprite that was in my custom title before he got locked out by the evil 1000 posts. ) form, so keep that in mind. Back to the story: Drag is so absorbed in the condition of the sky that he does not hear Apophis Apophis: *ahem* Drag: Oh! Umm... Sorry. I was so wrapped up in this whole storm thing that's been going on. All sorts of lightning everywhere, but do you want to know the strangest thing? (puzzled) I've been asking everyone around here, and not a single person wanted a flashlight... (/puzzled) Anyway, That's really odd, considering how everything's gotte-- A blinding flash of lightning partnered with a mind-splitting roar of thunder shakes the surroundings, knocking most of everyone to the ground Drag: (shaken) LEMME IN! LEMME IN! I do NOT have good vibes about this at all! (calmer, but still a bit shaken) ...please. *glances over Apophis's shoulder* Quite a gathering, I must say. | Drag sets the flashlights down on the floor. Drag: Allow me to introduce myself. I'm Drag. I am a dragon. Now that that's out of the way, something is definately up. Really! There are these big black clouds, which I thought were just really bad storm clouds, until I remembered this place is supposed to be where the sun always shines, except when it's night. Well, anyway... Drag whips out a large rolled up scroll-like sheet of paper and begins analyzing it. Drag: "The first step in figuring out what your large cloud problem is, is to list some possible sources of which may have sparked the clouds." Hmm... well, I saw this happen in Pocket Bomberman. Some dip sealed a specific sword which made things go whacko. That's a possibility, but what does everyone else think? |

| "Ha! Shirley was right on the nose!" Taffy laughed as Ultimanium landed. Shirley herself, meanwhile, squealed excitedly to herself about being a "real" psychic, or something like that. "Ehh...never mind her right now. You okay? ...anyway," Taffy continued, "glad you're here. As I was telling this guy (motioning to Nijiru), my friends and I want to see what's causing this darkness. We thought we might get a better view if we could go beyond the clouds, or at least get to the top of this skyscraper....but there's one teensy little problem. None of us can fly. Not even Shirley there, even though she's a loon." "What did you call me?" Shirley squawked. Taffy quickly backed up. "I meant the waterfowl. You know, you're a loon. Shirley MacLoon." "Oh, right," Shirley replied. "Gawd, I hate that name. So totally confusing." "Anyway..." Taffy began again, "that's why we flagged you two down here. We were hoping you could help us get up there. Of course, weight might be a problem..." she turned slightly, addressing Nijiru again. "The bad news is...I'm human in this world, which means I'll weigh slightly more; about 110 pounds or so. But the good news is, my teammates are much smaller and lighter than I am. I'd venture that the two of them combined weigh roughly as much as I do alone." Taffy shrugged. "What do you guys think? I'd like us all to go at once, in case we find something, but if that's just not possible...well, tell me what you think first." |

| Drag: I like your idea better. Being the dragon I am, I can fly, but I haven't really tried carrying anyone while I flew... (in this storyline, anyway.) so I'm not all that sure how much I can handle. Maybe one, maybe none. Drag rolls up the scroll-like piece of paper and puts it away, and examines his wings Drag: Who's the lightest? |
