| I was just wondering if any one here in the SPORTS CENTER, might consider music a sport. I don't mean that crap you play at school I mean real music. Like Rock any kind of rock. I was just wondering because I am no good at "sports" if you know what I mean, but I do play bass in a band that's forming. It's basically made up of the Slayer Clan, and one or two other people. By the way is any one here in a band, want to be in a band or were in a band. Well man i consider music *playing in the band i'm in* a sport its hard work and its very demanding also you can't just pik a guitar up and be great you must practice to be good like all sports  i play bass to and now do back up vocals for the band i'm in its awsome and great fun maybe somtime i would put a sound track of one of our songs on here but that won't be for a while. |

| Yeah!!! Bass, is cool. I just got my first Bass Guitar last summer. How long did it take you to learn to play really good. I've always heard Bass is quicker to learn. It's actually really sad. The only reason I'm bass is my younger bro wanted to be Electric guitar and demanded me to be something different just when I was going to beat him up my mom says. "You know it is more likely a Bass player will get into a band than a regular Electric Guitar player". And here I am. Sitting in my house talking to people over the internet. lol. I am actually in a band but you already know that I'll just call it The Slayer Clan for now. | |||

Man well lets see i have been playing non stop for 3 months practice i don't have a basds yet (money probs) but my friends bro has one lets me use it so then i have practcied everyday for 2 hours on an acoustic playing stuff and making stuff up, i haven't hade any lessons can't efford them so i teach myself lol, i am not great just i can play the bass quiet fast at parts as i am told and i am much better than people expected me to be everyone that knew me thought i sucked and i palyed the whole of iron man by blk sabbath on bass an dthere faces dropped lol, |

| I have no idea how to respond to this. MUSIC is just that...music. I have no idea where you got that music was a sport in any fashion. Sport involves types of physical activities, and where music does require some physical talents...it's not even on the same level of activity as sports. Yes in concerts people go nuts, but it's just not sport. I think I'm going to move this to entertainment... |

| Music is a sport as much as video games are sports. In other words, only in the loosest term of the word "sport" can you justify it being a sport. By the way, that "crap you play at school" is sometimes the most influential artists of all. Without Beethoven there would be no metal. |
