I recently added both MSN messenger and Yahoo messenger too my board, and I was also hoping maybe somebody knew what the offline/online image was for MSN Messenger or just a link to open up the messenger itself so you could send that user a messege, I actually don't have an MSN screen name, so help would be nice! For example, AIM's link is Hopefully someone can help. (PS, didn't know if I should have posted this here, in Programming, or Help / Suggestions, etc... oh well.) |

I don't think you can do it with MSN. Or I could type msn: in my adress bar and It would boot MSN (as irc: and aim: are doing.) | |||

The official Messenger doesn't register URL protocols (as AOL does with aim:) like some others. I'm 99% sure that all the unofficial clients (Gaim, aMSN, etc) don't either. The JavaScript, btw, is only for Internet Explorer. (edited by FreeDOS on 09-18-04 05:22 AM) |

Hmm, well I haven't had time to try it out, but I guess I won't anymore. (Since it's good to make sure websites work fine in both IE and Firefox.) Oh well, I'll just leave it for users to copy and paste if they really want to IM somebody for MSN. Well thanks for the help anyways fellow Acmlmers. *locks!!!* |
