^_Look_^

I'd have to say I really enjoyed the first of the series, I liked the super marioesque power-up style, as in getting the special Wario hats out of the question boxes. Also the treasure system was awesome.

Well, I've never played Wario Land or Wario Land 4, but I think that between 2 and 3, the last one is better, so it gets my vote. This game was so difficult the first time I played it!!!

Wario Land 2 and 3 were fun, no doubt, but I think the developers got caught up to much in the intricacies of the game rather than the general fun. Secret rooms, puzzles, and alternative routes here and there are awesome, but when they harshly distract from the good ol' pound the enemies beat the boss style platformer, they can get rather irksome.

Wario land is the only out of them I have actually played. First wario land is called Super mario land 3. Then the rest was called just Wario land.

I loved Wario land.

no worries.

I never played a whole lot of 2 or 3, never in fact. But i remember not liking the way wario looked in those for some reason. It was close, but i think i just have more found memories of Wario 1. My first gameboy was given to me at about that time so that, Kirby's adventure, and LoZ: link's awakening were big deals to me.

Wario 4 did have kickass effects and felt like a good old fashion SNES game.

Wario 2 was the only one I played so of course my vote goes to it.

Wario Land 3, hands down. A gigantic world filled with stages you had to revisit multiple times to get the items you needed, a very interesting day/night system, the wonderful treasure system.... Definitly one of my favourite GBC games.

I perfered 1 and 2 the best...oh geez, it's so difficult to say, but I'll go with 1 just because. There was just osmthing about the original...oh, and 4 was a great game, don't get me wrong, but was WAY too different from any wario land game. It didn't even have that classic Wario Land theme (look at the first two games if you wanna know what I mean)

I own them all, Wario Land 1 still is the best.
2nd was bigger, but how it had places hidden was frustrating.
3rd was a bit boring after one play.
4th had the best levels, but lacked in areas. (i only like hard mode)

1st, nice level layouts, easy to beat bosses (mostly), fun puzzles, long life span.

I really enjoyed WL4, with the racing to the portal, itemshop, and boss battle system with the health bar, were all new features to the Wario Land series, which made this game quite unique. It also had the CD retrieval system to play the jukebox, and those fun bonus minigames, which were quite a hit as that adapted into its own game, Warioware. The only thing that WL4 lacked was length, and maybe some difficulty.
WL2 and 3 were fairly similar in gameplay, and both pretty fun.
However, the reason I like the first was because it retained a lot of Mariosity. You would power up with items, from little Wario to big Wario, and then an added bonus of special caps. Thats what made it stand out, IMO.
