I was going to offer Webmail to each member who donated to the site. With every donation that will give me more space. I currently have 1 GB of webspace. How much Webmail Space should I offer per $1 per donator?

as with any system, you have to make sure you are able to meet demand. If you have low demand, then you could have higher inbox sizes. But if you get to the point where you are running out of space, your users aren't going to be too happy with getting reduced inbox sizes...

50M per 1$ sounds alright, then. At that 1/4th of the space would go to mail (50 * 5$ -> 250/1024 or whatever) Now if you wanted to make it 100MB per 1$, it'd be around half of the space going to mail, which seems a tad expensive |

Well, I give a 10 megabyte quota to each e-mail address on my site.... that means that each account can hold up to 10 megabytes in saved e-mails. It's the default amount so I'm pretty sure its all good. |
