Be funny and random, maybe tease her a little ("Oh, I don't usually date older / taller / punk women" would be a good thing to say to a girl that's older / taller / punker than you are, should get a good reaction) 9. End conversations and meetings first, and while they're still good. Better to end on a good note rather than drag on until it gets boring. 10. Show that you're independant. If you're looking at something in a store and you want to go down the aisle or across the room or something to look at something else, don't be afraid to leave her behind you. | I disagree, here in Rhode Island the legal age of consent is 16. It's very much like that in many places, the "18" rule doesn't really apply anymore. The sex age has changed about as much as the drinking age in the past few years. | |||

I'd think that a 4-year age window between a minor and an adult would be pretty illegal.  Unless the age of consent is 16, it's not good at all. |
