I'm going with Star Terk actors. Data, Captain Picard, and... uhh... I forget who Ms. Sutris played. But Star Trek is the key.

All of them have the name Phil.

I'll take a guess on mystery character and say California Governer Arnold.

As for the bonus, 31,200?

The number of weeks in 600 years:

Normally there are 52 1/7 weeks in a year, so the normal years add up to 31285 5/7 weeks.

But then there are the additional days caused by leap years. There would normally be 150 leap years in a 600-year span, but years 100, 200, 300, 500, and 600 are not leap years (only years that are a multiple of 400 are leap years). So we have 145 additional days, or 20 5/7 additional weeks.

This brings the grand total to 31306 3/7 weeks.

Am I right?

Tiny miscalculation on your part heian...

Its actually 31307 and 1 day left over... Though it actually depends on what year the first leap year occurs on

Kirby, it's not a miscalculation at all. You need to remove five days from years that aren't actually leap years. Assuming that the first year is year 1, I'm sticking with my answer.

Why would you take off 5 days when a leap year only adds one day?

He's counting on the basis that one leap year is the norm, while all other years have one less day to them. It'd be like starting with a year that has 366 days to it. However, it seems like any way you slice it the last year will be a leap year, meaning there's one extra day to add onto it. 600X365 +149 = 219149, which comes out to 31307, with one extra day.

Heian, your logic seems to make sense, but the years that are a multiple of four are leap years, there are not four years between each leap year, every fourth year is a leap year. Four divides very easily into 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 hundred, so those years are all leap years, giving us not 145 extra days, but 150.
