| In my opinion, the easiest way to learn some programming languages is to download a few open source programs written in that code, and look at it for a while, then try to edit it. It's much easier then immediatly trying to write a simple program, because it's all there, and you just need to figure out what the commands mean. For example, PHP's not a hard language to figure out, and if you just see a few bits of code from the language, most commands are simple to understand... So, for anyone having trouble learning a programming language, it couldn't hurt to try out my method, could it? |

| from what i understand the AB source was not the most conventionally structured code, and that may be what Dan was referring to. But i think you're right, for the most part that's the best way to learn from just random examples and source. | |||
