| Rain stared at the small clearing in the forest from her spot up in the tree. Ever since Ranma had gone through the portal there, it attracted fairly weak fiends, allowing her to practise her gun on. Even though she hadn't practised much just yet. Practically being blown to bits had done that to her, but luckily her natural high recovery rate had kicked in fast, making sure she was out of the lethal area fairly soon. She closed her eyes and relived it again, as she had so many times now. Finally discovering the truth about who she really was had brought her both pain and joy, as she knew who she was, and why she was what she was. It was just sad her spirits were gone aswell, though she often felt as if they were still with her when the wind messed up her hair, or during a fresh rainfall, and sometimes even in the mixture results she pulled off with the gun. With Miles' help, she had conjured up some basic offensive and defensive mixtures, which she had perfected further on dummy targets. And finally, some time ago she was slated as fully healed by Celestria, allowing her to get some real practise. So at the moment, she was sitting on a fairly thin branch, waiting to draw out components for her mixtures out of the next monster that would appear. |

| ???: "...aaaaaAAAAUUUUGH!!' SNAP! CRACK! [tree brush noise] KLUNK! THUNK! Which was when a certain somebody made a less-than-perfect enterance into the forest...or rather a wild descent to the ground. ???: "Ow...ow...ow ow ow...these rides are never fun..." He took a minute to get himself in a sitting position...took a look around...noticed the forestlife around him and had the feeling that these kind of trees didn't exist in Tokyo. It was Crystaltina all right... Ranma: "Oy..." He had time to get a few things from the dojo before going...more of a sneak in op than anything...and it was enough time to get a few things before he had to be dropped back here. He really didn't believe what he had heard but...if anything he'd learn his answers soon enough when he got to Crystaltina Castle. Ranma tugged his loose ponytail...whew...still there. Ranma: "Okay...time to find her then..." Ranma started to make a move but his instincts kicked in...there was someone around... He took a look up in the tree and put a hand over his eyes to screen the sun out a bit... Ranma: "Oy! Anyone up there?" |

| Rain stared at the odd landing the strange beast made, as it dropped down in the clearing, leaving her an open shot on what seemed like a bundle of badly matching clothes and other random gear. ..it talked and teleported. She had seen many weird things in this forest, but this sure beat it. Since it actually knew how to teleport on its own, she decided to take no risks and give it a warning shot. But which one to pick? After briefly contemplating on what to do exactly, she shot of a normal bullet in front of the thing to scare it, while at the same time, she swiftly swung herself to another nearby branch. When she reached it, she put the goggles on her face, rather than using it to keep her hair out of her eyes, and prepared to shoot of a more heavy ammo if needed. |

| Ranma: "Oh shit!" Ranma didn't know about anyone having guns in Crystaltina...oh please say he was dropped off in the right place... He took shelter behind the tree and took a look at where whoever just tried to land a gunshot failed. The person was already moving to a tree. Ranma: ~Man...whoever it is can run...better take it out now...~ He took an estimate from where this person was running in the trees to the approximate time this attack was going to take and picked an area in the brush where there was a lot of tree material... Ranma: "MOUKO TAKABISHA!" It was enough to take out the tree brush...and not the person...he didn't want to kill a person who was trying to kill him just yet...more for the reason of why first... |

| As Ranma shouted out his attack, Rain recognised him, aswell as what he was capable off. Only, he apparantly underestimated her. She backflipped to one of the branches she had been on previously, which was much closer to Ranma, and then quietly landed behind him. *click* "You know, you shouldn't scare a lady like that. Especially not one with a big-ass loaded gun, pointing at your head." She poked him with the tip of the gun, to prove the point. "I thought you'd be happily married by now, Ranma Saotome." |

| Ranma didn't even see the person sneak up from behind him, it was that fast, which completely scared the heck out of him for a moment...but... Ranma: "The...hell...?" Ranma thought the voice sounded familiar...he slowly took a look around... Hmm...haircut...new wardrobe...new gun add on...but the face told it all... Ranma: "R...R...Rain?" Ranma breathed a sigh of relief...this person was on his side... |

| "The new and improved." She lowered the gun and clicked it into the holder on her back. Aswell as putting the goggles back up on her head, and giving Ranma a tight hug. She couldn't help it, but things hadn't been so interesting ever since he left, so she was quite happy he was back. "So, what do you think of the outfit? Chi and the others made all of this stuff for me, back when they were still human. I don't think you ever saw it in action, ne?" She shook her head and dragged him along to the castle, figuring the others would want to see him back. |

| Ranma: "Uh...happy to...oof...see you too?" Ranma didn't know why he was getting the life force hugged out of him since he hadn't been gone that long to begin with... Ranma: "Uh hey hey hey! Spirits gone...new you...what now?" Ranma made a brief stop real fast to get himself composed. Something wasn't right here...This was definitely all news to him as if he was getting bulldozed with new information all over again... Ranma: "I've only been gone for...a week tops..." He looked around...there was a different air about him than he remembered. Something -definitely- was not right... Ranma: "...right?" |

| "Just a week?! What were they feeding you there? You've been gone for almost three months, you baka." She shrugged and tilted her head to the left. "You never were that good in using your head, I guess." She smiled lightly, but a shadow passed through her face as the memories of her spirits flooded her again. They were all permanently gone now. To distract her thoughts, she went on with dragging him down the nearly invisble path out of the forest, after which Chrystaltina castle could be clearly seen, a more clear road leading towards it. |

| Ranma: "Three...months?" Ranma didn't know what time warp he hit but that definitely did add up as a week in his book. But wait...was there some weird time thing that happened when he went though those portal things or something? He shook his head...that definitely wasn't an area he knew a lot if anything about...so his only reaction to all this was a bug-eyed expression. Though there was something that rattled through his brain as his danger sense went off and he stopped for a moment to look back...just staring... Ranma: "......." |

| "Don't worry, they never come out of the forest, unless if something is threatening the very existance of the forest. That's probably why they let me restock all the time. I mean, Miles' solution aren't bad, but nothing can beat the real thing, especially if you can get it so fast here." She nudged him towards the road, not wanting to hold out her "surprise" on the others. "Except for that big mutated bear ofcourse, but a blind bomb always gets him of my back." She rolled her eyes and took the gun in her hands, just incase something would follow them. |

| Ranma: "Y...you sure?" Ranma was pretty sure something was up though...his sense told him it wasn't something like a bear...at least any of the bears he knew...which weren't really that many to be exact...maybe she was right... He started to turn back when he felt a discharge of energy and a meek flash that came from the darkness of the forest a few hundred feet away from them...there was a large sphere of something getting large in his view...and fast... Ranma: "Aw shit...get down!" Ranma pushed Rain to the opposite end of the path on instinct as he jumped in the opposite direction and watched as a yellow sphere of energy came screaming past...enough to kick up some dirt and debris and give the earth near it a good rocking...the sphere itself slammed into a tree with enough force to shatter the base of it and make it fall to the ground... Ranma: "I dunno about you but I dunno too many bears that do that..." |

| "Neither do I. Maybe it's a grumpy.... tree?" She giggled nervously and stood up, slowly walking to the middle of the path. She held the gun losely in one hand, and held the other one out in front of her. A gentle ripple emmited from her hand on, and spread out fast. She opened her eyes in fright and jumped off the road near Ranma. "Seems like we'll be stuck on our own. Celestria's busy with the cleric, and anya's who knows where. and the thing attacking us isn't an animal or normal opponent, for that matter." Once more, she shoved the goggles in front of her eyes and loaded her gun into ready state, making sure she had plenty of painful mixtures to dish out. |

| "I didn't even DO anything yet, because you came warping in." She gave him a light slap on his shoulder, and aimed at the area the energy orbs had come from, after which she shot of a mixture that had her rolling back a few feet. A dark energy wave made its way to the forest, going through the threes and plants, but hitting anything else tha lived and actually breathed. Rain sat back up and prepared to snipe anything that showed its face out of the smog that was covering the edge of the forest. |

| Ranma: "Ow...well excuse me for dropping by..." Ranma noticed the energy blasts, which had seemed constant, had stopped now...but there was still a feeling of prescence around...he closed his eyes for a brief moment...felt human but...then...empty...for some reason...what was this. He felt something above him. Ranma: "There!" Ranma saw a form in the brush. Ranma: "MOUKO TAKABISHA!!" The attack slammed into whatever was in the tree and it came crashing to the ground about a dozen feet from Rain and Ranma's position. Ranma: "Whew...man I come back to Crystaltina and this is the welcome I get..." Ranma got up from his position and walked over to the form that was prone on the ground... Ranma: "Awright...lesse what was......" Ranma stopped mid-sentence as his eyes bugged out...he turned a shade of white and his heart sank...there wasn't a lot he was going to say about what was in front of him...or at least not right now... |

| Rain got closer and leaned over Ranma to see why he'd get all quiet so sudden. The face she saw was oddly familiar, untill it hit her who shewas looking at. "But... that's impossible, isn't it?" She looked from Ranma to the figure on the ground, nearly ready to run away screaming. "..right?" |

| Ranma couldn't even breathe at this point; he swallowed hard. Ranma: "I...it...how..." Ranma slowly got his speech back... Ranma: "It's...me..." Sure enough it was him...or her...an exact copy of the likeness of Ranko, from the look of which had just taken the charge from the attack stomach-first, as there was a smoking hole in her clothes...whatever this was didn't even know how to block and literally committed suicide. Ranma: "Oh...man..." Ranma sank to the ground to what he was seeing... Ranma: "Y...you don't know anything that's like...on of those uhm...what do you call em...shapeshifters...do you?" Ranma was trying to figure out what was in front of him...this wasn't real. |

| "The only thing I know that changes form is a catterpillar." Her curiosity won it from her fear, so she carefully poked the Ranko clone in the cheek, without any result. "She's really dead, isn't she? Want me to try and get her back up?" Rain looked surprised by her own words, but decided to just let it go by. She didn't realy know what to do to make Ranma feel a bit better. |
