If I remake a mysql db, and do everything all over again, do you think I will still have these login errors? I am getting no where with this. Its just not working...

Don't think that's a good idea. Check if the cookie path is alright.

I checked every single .php, and made sure that there were no lines after the ?>. And now when i login, it doesnt show the errors. But when it redirects me to the index.php, my user isnt logged in. i already checked to see if the register_Globals was on, and it was, and i put in the correct cookie path. i don't understand what is wrong.

aha! I know your problem. This happened to me a long time ago. It's not your forums, everyone else SHOULD be able to login correctly (on different computers). The problem is with your computer itself; it happened to me before and I fixed it by enabling cookies

That's not his problem, I tried with both IE and FIreFox (which works perfectly here) and it doesn't keep the login.

i was looking at the acmlmboard faq, and it says

"Acmlmboard's require at least PHP 4.0+, MySQL 3+ (only MySQL, no others supported yet), the Image GD library (most servers have this, not Lycos though), PHPmyAdmin, and enough server space to run it."

I have all that, EXCEPT Image gd Library.
well, I asked my cpanel Manager if my cpanel has this Image GD Library, and he said that if alot of people start requesting it, they'll install it. Is that effecting my board? I guess i'll have to find a normal host for my forum...

The only effect it have is that the graphics (like number of posts, after the avatar) won't display.

check fucntion.php, config.php and colors.php for empty lines after the ?>

that's the most common problem.

[edit]If there is any lines, delete them.

*note to self, finish a post before posting it*

If it doesn't work, change your FTP client. It can insert empty lines by itself.
