| I just found out that my mom picked up the phone mid conversation on me and I didnt even notice. And the ironic thing is she picked up the moment I mentioned weed. So now she knows and is threatening to tell the world. And shes threatening to tell my bestfriends mom that we do it because I mentioned his name. Thing is I dont want to lose my bestfriend and im trying to find out a way I can say to my mom that every teenagers gonna do it atleast once or something like that. | Well just remind your mom that weed is not that bad. Millions of North Americans smoke, and thats ALOT worse than weed in long term effects. All it does is screw with your mind for a little while....Drugs and smokeing arnt the greatest thing, but almost everyone does try it once. At least your not takeing cocain or anything like that. Id you stop using it, and explain it to her....peer pressue is a big thing now-a-days, I;m sure she'll for the most part get over it after thinking about it for a few day.....just remember, BE NICE!! |

| I'm going to have to disagree with you there. Nobody I have ever known has ever tried it. Ever. It's not as common as you think. Besides, murders happen all around the world on any given day, and that doesn't make it right. The way I see it, you have two choices. Stop smoking, and maintain everything, or keep smoking, and take your chances. It's your call. |

| I haven't tried it, most of my friends haven't tried it so not all of us is doing it. I wouldn't want to try it. I'm already getting cigerette smoke into my system, I wouldn't want weed in there too. Tell her you're planning to stop and maybe she'll think about not telling anyone. Try to reason with her, that's what I would do. It depends on what you mentioned on the phone while she was listening though. On the phone, did you say anything positive about weed and you guys doing it? If you did I guess it would be hard to talk her out of it |

| We live in Canada. Up here it is socially acceptable. Half of all of my friend's parents do it. And these are people who are doctors, lawyers, etc. And are held in very high regard among their peers (who probably also smoke). We have a different out look on it, for the most part anyways. Angel, just mention to your mom that ruining a friendship over a mistake is stupid. Drill the concept of you losing a friend, your BEST friend, over a stupid little thing as inane and childish on her part. |

| She isnt going to tell one of my bestfriends mom but she fucked over my other one someone. Im so flipping mad right now. I was supposed to go to a huge party out and about here but thats fucked over because of weed. God damn it. Im probably gonna quit doing it now. |
