The Princess's original name was Princess Peach, actually. Kind of like how Robotnick's original name was Eggman. To localize the characters, they gave them new names for America. However, their original names, as you can see, came through in the end. Casanova Koopa...OH MY... So where can I see THAT episode, eh? |

Is it just me, or does that pic of Casanova Koopa look somewhat... Cel-shaded?

Memories from the series are coming back.. the series used the sound samples from the game for some sound FXs and it even used the game soundtrack... And no.. the concept of Cel-Shading didn't even began to emerge in the times when the Super Mario Bros. 3 Show existed |

Originally posted by Destiny SmasherIn Japan, her name has always been Peach, but in America her name was translated as Toadstool. The first time she was called Peach in America was in Yoshi's Safari. (edited by Hb2 on 08-28-04 05:57 PM) |

Well, most names went back to the original. One name stayed the same in America. Bowser. In Japan it was King Koopa, here it was Bowser. Bowser stayed Bowser.

Originally posted by Destiny Smasher Just one problem with this. Sonic the Hedgehog was actually released in the US about a month BEFORE its Japanese counterpart. This info is actually wrong, I don't think it came out THAT much before it. So Eggman won out, but going by release dates, Robotnik is technically the "original" name. |

even though we are getting off topic, these are all very fun topics! But didn't TMNT have cel shading? It certainly did in the opening credits, and I believe good chunks of the first episode had some cel-shading. |
