| Muse. They were there keeping britrock alive while The Darkness were playing tiny clubs. So many great and classic songs, easily more compelling than any Foos song in my opinion, that go relatively unheared of. They have a great cult following in many parts of the globe, and art worth listening to if you want a truely orginal band that are slogging it out touring the planet today  |

| I'm going with the Foo Fighters in this one. I'm still amazed at what Dave Grohl did after Kurt's passing. When I heard he was going to form a band, I was very skeptical. Moreso when I heard he was going to be the lead singer. But damn, he did an awesome job. For my money, it doesn't get much better than The Colour and the Shape. Awesome album.  |
