| "Hmmm...can they work together?" APH gets out his Power Sword and thinks, "Metal Man should be weak against my blade, and Bright Man should be nearly useless if I destory his bulb." APH whirls in a circle with his blade outstretched, hoping to shatter the lightbulb on Brightman's head, and maybe shatter Metalman's whole head. "Heh, it's a good thing that I know so much about Megaman." | |||

| Janus: "APH!" Leaping from the wreckage of a nearby UFO crash, Janus slips behind Brightman, hammer in hand. He then taps Brightman forward, working with APH to ensure that his attack hits and that Brightman's bulb is shattered. Brightman's easily the most dangerous thing on the battlefield at this point. "We need to watch out, raw power alone isn't what will sustain these robots! Everyone, be careful of team attacks and any robots that can do more than just damage us! Brightman isn't the only one!" |

| Dimmension's attack is powerful enough to overwhelm the shield in a half-second. Dimmension laughs at the both of them. "Pfff, you two are pathetic after all. I don't have time to fight you, any of you. I'm taking my robots with me to the Dimmension Fortress in the sky, where I can begin on destroying humankind." Meanwhile, APH, Janus and the enemy robots fight. Brightman is ready to launch a paralysis-inducing Flash Stopper, but Janus surprises him and he flinches first. APH's sword snaps Brightman's bulb, destroying it instantly, but Metalman catches the sword on it's way to him... takes out a Metal Blade, and runs it along the sword, splitting it like a bananna. (OOC: Well, actually I can't say whether it's split or not. APH, you tell me.) Dimmension interrupts their squall. "Allies, it's time to go. Don't worry, my surprise will take care of them anyway." The robots gather around the floating Dimmension, and begin beaming out rapidly. Dimmension stays until they're all gone. "Meet my friend before you go. I like to call him, Critical Mass." Dimmension throws a robotic sphere into the ground, which glows blue like him. Then Dimmension flies away. The sphere is implanted into the ground, expanding and morphing into something much BIGGER... |

| OOC: Yellow Demon? Janus: "Damn! I hope that's not what I think it is! Guess I'll have to switch tactics here... A hammer's not gonna do it if we're going up against THAT..." Janus's hammer instantly turns back into a satchel, as he draws a small pole out from within it. The pole extends into his strange metal quarterstaff; this one, however, has a different feel to it. A small switch halfway up the shaft of the staff reveals a new function. When Janus presses it, a slot towards the top of the staff opens -- and out slides a blade. A scythe! "A present for me from the Reaper himself! I don't quite favor bladed weapons, but this is a special case." The scythe's blade is a strange one. When one looks directly at it, it almost seems like it's not there. In fact, it definitely looks like there is no blade. However, when one stares at it out of the corner of their eye, or suddenly sees it when their mind isn't busy whispering to them "There is no blade, there is no blade...", one will realize that there is indeed a blade attached to the staff, a blade so fine it can cut the wind itself... |

| Dracoonx4 landed on the ground and feel to his knee. He looked towards Demision and then watched what was going on. "You coward..." Dracoonx4 had his gun pointed, but it was shorting out and he knew it wouldn't make any difference. He watched as he saw Critical Mass wondering what it could be. He switched his eye seemed to glow red as he tried to examine what it was. |

| OOC: Yellow Demon is easy compared to this dude... The sphere finishes morphing after 30 seconds... it is now a palace-sized, beetle-shaped turret imbedded into the ground. Made of smooth chrome, this enemy has a thick shell around it's whole body except it's eyes, and it has four cannons on it's body; one on either side of it's face, one out of it's forehead at an angle, and one right above that at a higher angle. The beetle can't move, but it can turn real well. It's robotic voice is very loud. "I am... Critical Mass. Hungry for battle. Dimmension created me. He is invincible. I am equipped with twin laser cannons, twin flamethrowers, a bomb cannon and a shrapnel cannon. I am invincible. My purpose is to eliminate the enemies of Dimmension. You are the enemy. You may all attack me first, but I am invincible. I will eliminate you." The beetle faces all of it's enemies with it's large, black eyes, ready for them to attack. |

| Janus looks, dumbfounded, at the extremely strange mechanical object before him. He sheepishly puts away his scythe, and reequips his hammer. Janus: "Well, so much for that. Invincible, eh? There's a fine line between unstoppable and invincible. Let's see if you walk it..." Janus leaps high into the air toward the turret, landing on its very top. "No matter how good you are at turning, you can't hit what you can't aim at!" Janus runs up to one of the turret's large cannons, the top one, and rears back, unleashing a shattering blow on its shaft, hoping to warp the barrel and cause it to misfire! "Earthquake!!!" |

| "Heh lets see how strong you are with two earth attacks! Rock Crusher!" Dracoonx4 swings his sword down at the ground creating a fisure that races toward the giant beetle. The attack normally would have no chance of destroying the rock, but the ground was weak from the extra wight on it. When the rock fissure hit rocks exploded froma suddenly formed crater. The attack would act like a pit fall as Critical Mass was obviously to well armored for rocks to hurt it. |

| Before Janus can hit the barrel, Critical Mass's eyes light up... and an electric field covers the beetle carpace, shocking Janus and launching him away. "Also equipped with thousands of shock generators under shell. Also makes heat field to absorb energy attacks. Elimination goal under way." While Janus is in midair, Critical Mass turns the lower center cannon toward him and fires a heavy, explosive cannonball in his direction. Next comes Dracoon's attack. The beetle's two side cannons aim at the expanding crack and douse it with gasoline flames. Obviously that doesn't do a thing. "Something is wrong. Moving object still moving." The fissure reaches it and creates a small pit under the beetle, dropping it lower into the ground and throwing off it's balance. "Must stabilize self. Activating gripping spikes." Several steel claws come out of the center pole Critical Mass turns upon, and grip the ground firmly, gaining back his stability. Critical Mass turns to Dracoonx4, and it can be noticed that he turns slower now. "Moving opening came from target Dracoonx4. Race, Reploid. Stats: Defense, med-low. Offense, very high. Speed, med-high. Weakness: searching, searching..." Critical Mass continues this data search for a while, leaving himself open to another attack by anyone. |

| The electrified Janus is cannonballed away from Critical Mass's hull, and lands in a smoking heap on the ground. Ever so slowly, he manages to pull himself to his feet and stares directly at Critical Mass... Janus: "G.... Green... Hurt more than that did...." Suddenly, Janus's eyes flare a wild blue color, as he rushed towards Critical Mass, enveloping himself in a brilliant stream of flames and becoming like a firey missile, intended on striking Critical Mass's huge base, hoping to actually hit this time. "Red's Fire!!!" |

| Dracoonx4 looked right at the scanner and was scanning the robot himself, but he couldn't get anything on it. It was built to take a beating, and he couldn't dish it out like this. Dracoonx4 raised his arm cannon and fired a blast from it towards the scanner hoping to take it out. "That thing should have crushed itself... Bass do you think you can do something?" |

| OOC: The scanners are his eyes. The blast damages the beetle's two red eyes slightly, but he finishes scanning. "searching... Weakness: Pride. ...Compuders indicate large amount of irony." Bass runs to Dracoon's side. "I've fought things bigger than that. Let's try this: Remote Mines!" Bass's orange lining changes to maroon as he switches abilities. Learned from Pirateman in an earlier adventure, the Remote Mine was a powerful bomb that could be detonated at any time by the user. Bass leaps up and fires a remote mine at the beetle's eyes. Meanwhile, Janus's fire attack scorches part of the base of the beetle but that's about it. "Firey threat detected. Now comparing strengths of two flames." Critical Mass aimes it's twin cannons at Janus, and is right about to envelop him in gas-powered flamethrowers... but he may have a chance to dodge first. |

| OOC: Schwa, you have to decide this one, because only you know how fast those flames are travelling. Janus stares fearfully at the two huge cannons facing him, and watches as the flames spread toward him, concentrating as hard as he can for as long as he can before the flames hit him. Hopefully, what he's about to do will work. Janus claps his hands together, shuts his eyes, and screams out. Janus: "Slow!!!" Will it work? If it does, the oncoming flames will be slowed enough so that Janus can move safely out of the way. Other than that, he's about to get crispy. Janus (thinking): 'Man, I hope this works, we need to find Dimension and figure out what's going on! And where's Wily in all this...?" |

| "Stupid robot just die!" Dracoonx4 sent two more rock crushers at the robot trying to get the thing off its feet. Dracoonx4 jumped away trying to think as he prepared to dodge any attack the thing sent towards him. If he could use an ultima shot he could destroy it, but his gun wasn't ready yet... |

OOC: A simple attack that does what it says, Zeron's sword becomes smaller around, but more concentrated, more intense, meant to pirece through armour" |

| The flames are slowed, but this superheats the flames as they stay in one spot longer. Hopefully Janus gives himself time to dodge, the flames are slowed 3 inches from him. Zeron's sword pierces through the smooth crome right above Critical Mass's eyes, damaging it a little. "Indication of sword weakness. Enemy Zeron sword can pierce through armor. Enemy to be eliminated." Critical Mass retalliates by firing a twin Pulse-laser out of it's eyes toward Zeron on his way down. Dracoon's attack knocks Critical Mass even more off balance, this time beyond hope for it's gripping spikes. The huge beetle lies on an axis now and can't turn. "Faulty axis, very unstable. Deattaching lower hull. Time: 4." Critical Mass fires his Shrapnel Bomb for the first time. Out of the upper cannon fires a spikeball-shaped bomb that explodes into tiny explosive flares, which shower the area around Critical Mass. Bass is hit from this, but it doesn't hurt much more than his pride. Bass aims his ForteBuster at the beetle's eyes and fires a rapid-fire stream of blasts. |

| Dracoonx4 runs to basically point blank and his gun fires outwards like a shot gun. Instead of it being concetrated though it still shot out over the side of the robot that he was standing by. "Wide Spread!" Dracoonx4 fired four blasts like these hitting Critical Mass almost everywhere on the side. |

| APH's plan works, but with a flaw. The beetle tips completely on his side but is about to land on APH. Dracoon blasts the side of the beetle, but Bass warns him about something else. "Leader, it's tipped over now and it's underbelly is vunerable! Blast the underside!" Bass is already there, pelting the underside with his devastating rapidfire. Critical Mass is shorting out. "Damaged. Cancelling hull-drop. Activating nuclear selfdestruct in 4." Bass loses it. "NUCLEAR!!? Oh my God, how decked out is this thing? Am I no longer the world's strongest?" |
