He powers up his shield, and his eyes flash orange as he senses a powerful mind.* "Good day. I would say Entaro'Adun or Entaro'Tassadar, but you are not worthy of such a greeting. I know of your sorrow and pain. I give you one chance now to surrender and go in peace." Shielding: Anon has an energy shield surrounding his body. This shield can take damage, though it reheals by 10% every one of Anon's turns. It cannot be deactivated totally. |

| OOC: Nice character. I love Starcraft. I thought your agent would've had more possibilities, though... Anon then recieves a telepathic message in response to his greeting. "Hello. I am Schwa, a warrior of the Three Legend Assets. Those assets are Virtue, Respect and Honor. I believe your kind believes strongly in honor." With this being said, a wavering figure becomes visible lower down in the canyon. Soon, the figure looks like a person. It's a 16 year old male wearing white, loose, robelike clothes and a black blindfold. The figure, Schwa, looks up at the Templar. "I don't get to see many protoss these days. How's the war going?" Schwa calls up to him, friendly. |

| Schwa leaps up a few rock platforms sticking out from the jagged canyon wall, until he's closer to Anon. "Just so you know, I never fight to kill. If we were to do battle right here, for instance, we would consider this a sparring match. The only times I kill in battle are against evil creatures, like demons or undead. Obviously you are neither of those, and since you value honor, that proves that you are good." Schwa leaps over Anon in one great leap, landing behind them. They are now both standing on the same platform, a small plateau near the top of the canyon. "If you want to fight me, take your best shot. Nothing can stop a Protoss from going into battle once he's decided, anyway." |

| "It is you, then who has decided your fate. Should you be the victor, finish me, as it is honorable to fall in the service of the Khala. I fight to win though, and if killing you is the way to so, then it must be done." *Anon leaps up into the air, his eyes flashing as his mind reaies itself for battle. Anon powers up his psionic arm blades, and gets into a crouhing position. He begins to fall towards Schwa at 60mph with both blades outstretched so that they will hit Schwa's upper chest if he does not block this attack. As he is coming down, Anon uses his mind to cause the plateau Schwa is standing on to crack and begin to fall.* |

| Schwa stares up at the falling Templar, perfectly calm. He loses it when the plateau cracks. "Whoa, what the heck!!" he exclaims, doing a quick backflip off the falling plateau. By doing this, he also gets away from Anon. The only problem: Schwa's backflip lands him on heavily sloped rock. "Oh crud... Bye bye!" Schwa tumbles down and falls down the canyon, but doesn't hit any more rocks luckily. Still, he would die from a fall that size... if it weren't for the technique he used. "Thunder Glider!!!" (insert echo effects) Blue ether gathers in front of Schwa as he falls, which forms into a blue, top-shaped platform. The platform flies under him and catches him, lifting him upward once more. "Whew. Nice one, Adon. Now I'll attack." Schwa flies upward, higher up than Adon once he's landed. Without warning, the top starts firing a few lightning bolts out of the pointy end which strike toward Adon. Though not terribly accurate, they fire in a barrage, and at least one of them is likely to hit. (edited by Schwa on 08-14-04 01:55 PM) |

Anon then flies straight at Schwa, making 8 slashes at his chest with his psionic blades.* "My weakness used to be that I couldn't fly. Now that that's gone, who knows what it is?" |

| "I know what it is," Schwa comments as Anon flies at him. "You're not one to stand up to attacks without a shield." Before Anon reaches Schwa, a coating of ether forms around Schwa's arms. When Anon slashes, Schwa's arms block like crazy, the ether flaring up each time his arm is hit. His arms seem to be unharmed while blocking the blades of energy. However, Schwa does take a hit. After Anon's done slashing, Schwa focuses and the platform flies a loop so he's flying behind Anon. He's got a bad cut on the upper part of one of his arms, but the rest of his arms are unharmed by the special, protective ether. "Your shield is automatic, while mine is manual. I have to focus in order to deflect blows... a good aspect, since I can defend myself whenever I want as long as I can focus." Schwa then uses a technique. "Moonbeam of Stormbird!!!" (echo effects) Schwa thrusts his palms forward, and out of them fly several lavender beams, each only as thick as a quarter is wide. But the beams are fast-- they hit Anon's shield in a tenth of a second. "This attack eats up any form of energy very quickly, and feeds it to the sky," Schwa says. True, the beams dissolve the energy shield as long as they're touching it. And Schwa keeps his beams firing until the shield is gone, 2 or 3 posts from now. "Of course, I'd expect a Templar to disable the beams somehow... That's actually what I'm waiting for you to do." Schwa smiles eagerly. |

| 'Shield Strength at 95%' said a voice from Anon's power suit. *Anon uses the Power of the Protoss technique to stop the beams before it hurts his shield too much.* "You're wrong. My shield and my power suit are the only things preventing me from unleashing my full power upon you. You don't want for that to happen." *Anon flies away from Schwa, turn around, and uses the psionic storm technique.* Psionic Storm: Creates 100 bolts of psionic lightning that go for the opponent, causing physical as well as mental harm. Anon is the only one who can control the bolts. And, they cannot be absorbed by any means. Power of the Protoss: Nullifies any one attack or technique fueled by the mind or spiritual energy. |

| OOC: Usually it's against the Sim-Battle rules to use more than one special technique per turn, BTW. Schwa's beams are turned off temporarily, but Schwa activates them again after 4 seconds of cooldown, this time in a different way. Instead of several small beams, two very wide beams fire, one from each hand. But Schwa doesn't aim at the shield this time-- he envelops the psionic bolts with both beams, dissolving them (since they're a form of energy). "I know of that technique. I fought a Protoss Templar once before. Though he wasn't as strong as you, he used the same move on me. I wasn't a psi warrior then, and it almost killed me. Now where was I? Oh yes, the shield." Schwa envelops the shield with his wide Moonbeams of Stormbird, which makes it begin to deteriorate again. "If it makes you feel any better, Anon, I'll probably run out of mana before I can destroy the shield. Then again, I do have a move which recharges mana... But who knows if you'll even get to see it!" OOC: The beams are stronger this time, so they'll probably drain the shield faster. |

| "Wow, he can disable my attacks instantly with that move," Schwa thinks. "Well, he's no match for the power of the soul." Schwa activates... "Alpha Psibeam!!!" (echo effects) Schwa holds both arms out and curves his hands in a backward motion, creating a silver arc of spiritual energy in front of him. He points toward the energy orbs, and the arc takes off after them. Schwa's attack plows through any of the orbs it touches, and it does try to get in the way of the orbs, but it doesn't hit every one. The arc is still heading for Anon, but disappears before it reaches him (since plowing through the orbs weakened it). A handful of the orbs still fly toward Schwa, and Schwa coats himself in a cloak of cream-colored ether as they approach. "Hopefully this allows me to absorb most of the damage I recieve and convert it into mana," Schwa comments. He seems perfectly calm, and if Anon were to read his thoughts he could tell Schwa is perfectly calm. Good thing for Schwa. |

| OOC: Reading other's thoughts is not illegal, as I have done it in many battles before and got no warnings. (I don't do it often, either, just in conversations.) However, it is illegal to heal, even if it's a shield. "You need a lesson in recklessness. There's a proper way to do it," Schwa adds as Anon flies at him again. "Bank Hover." Schwa, still on the platform, tilts at a 45 degree angle and flies higher. Before Anon can reach him, Schwa kicks the platfrom he's standing on with both his legs, flinging it toward him. "Thunder Slash!" As the top flies, a cone of electricity coats it. The platform will return to Schwa to catch him after striking, and it moves very fast. Schwa is out of the way of Anon's attack as well (since he flew high). And, the best part is... Lightning can penetrate shields. |

| OOC: I told you, the rules here are quite different. Healing yourself at all is not allowed, unless the thread-starter says otherwise at the beginning of the fight. Healing allies works the same way; thread starter has to give permission. Schwa coats himself in cream-colored ether again, absorbing most of the damage as mana. (This means he still takes a little damage.) He doesn't flinch while hit, luckily. While Anon is close to Schwa, Schwa tilts the pointy end of the top to Anon again and uses Thunder Slash, at point-blank range. There's no way such a fast attack could miss at such a close range. "Ha, your shields aren't too useful now, are they? Now I wouldn't say Protoss are weak, but as for clueless arrogance, you score a point." |

| (ooc: Ok then. No more healing.) BIC: *Anon looked at Schwa and his eyes flashed with fury.* "Humanoid! I told you I was wiser than you! You are the fool for you have assumed that your attack would work, without anylyzing what has happened earlier in this fight. Continue to fight this way, and your death will not be honorable at all." *Anon braced himself as the lightning hit his shield. The electricity of it was absorbed by the shield, as had happened earlier in this fight, but there was some force behind the lightning which made Anon slide back a few feet, and lowered his shield density to 93%. Anon then jumped at Anon, flying at him through the air attempting to stab him with both psionic blades. Remember that Anon is only about 5 feet away from Schwa when he does this.* |

| The attack is fast, but Schwa is faster... at first, anyway. Anon's first attack is barely deflected as Schwa's ether-coated arm goes up, but the second arm isn't so fast. Schwa is hit by Anon's second attack and is knocked off the platform he's on... ...but while falling, a shield-penetrating beam of plasma erupts from Schwa's hand, reaching Anon in a fraction of a second! Schwa freefalls for a while before the platform moves down to catch him. He is lifted back upward, and away from Anon several yards. "Thank you for the attack. Don't you get it? My attack types change depending on my emotions. Fear bears electricity, sorrow bears ice, anger bears fire, but pure compassion will bring forth mighty plasma against my enemies. And my compassion for you has hit it's peak point, as I am battling such a noble warrior. Thank you, Anon! Now... are you sure you can keep fighting me when your shield is useless?" OOC: Lightning is supposed to penetrate shields, but I went with your idea instead. Happy? |

| "Once again, you have been outwitted." *Anon deactivates his shield for a split second and moves quickly to the side, though the beam does knock a chunk out of his powersuit. Anon then reactivates his shield, and then his eyes flash orange and stay orange as he concentrates on the walls of the canyon. He jumps up into the air and motions with his hands. The canyon walls, forced by his mind's will, explode into hundreds of huge boulders. All of these boulders fly at the falling Schwa from all directions. All of them are about the size of a mini-van, and are travelling at 90 mph.* |

| OOC: 90 mph? Hmm... The boulders would hit him before he was caught by his platform-- if it weren't for some quick thinking on his part. Schwa holds his arms out in mid-fall, and lavender ether pours out of them which flies inside the boulders. "I call this move Psychic Earth." The ether-charged boulders change direction in midair, spiraling around Schwa, forming a boulder cyclone. He is then lifted up by his platform, back to Anon's level again, but this time a mass of boulders are circling him. Schwa can be heard from within the earthen storm. "My Psychic Earth is my special ability that I get from being in touch with nature. It allows me to communicate with the earth itself, and have it help me out when necessary in exchange for life-giving ether. Different kinds of ether get me different results. Hyaa!" Schwa thrusts his hands out, and the boulders fly outward in all directions, surround Anon and close in at the same speed as Anon launched them (90 mph). |
