Now what is the deal with all of those < br >'s at the top of my post that is pushing my table down? Any ideas? Might it have something to do with the way my < table > interacts with the way the board creates my post? Bah, I'm done playing around for now. It's not looking at all like it looks in firefox when I display it on it's own outside the board...

(I gotta figure out why it's pushing the post text down so far too...)

Yup, I read the FAQ. Anything in particular I missed relating to this post? My real "new guy" post is a few back.

I'm not sure what you mean by "Delete them and put a sig down a couple of lines".

What do you mean by "them"? The < br >'s? I don't have any < br >'s in my header/sig or my posting. They seem to be coming out of thin air...

As for the fact that this post has lots of extra 'blue/purple" space above and below the post text.. well, I dunno about that either, so I'm working on it. Best place to work work on it is in a real thread before I unleash it upon the world.

No promises on the Live Wire either...

First of all, you can easily test your layour in your profile. Also, help for layouts are to be posted in "Modern Art". And to make the post look like I can help: Look if you haven't put anylines break in your header.

Well the best thing to do is probably get rid of your post background. Or you could just Pm HyperHacker. He would probably no what to do...

Well, I've solved the problem thanks to Cervantes and a similar tip in "modern art" (which I thought was just for serious art like drawings, photography, real web design not related to the board, etc..).

So, since this thread is useless, any mod that feels like deleting it can do so...

Thanks for the help guys!

There's no test section but there *IS* a Help forum.

But if the thread's run it's course...
