What's the name of that place you start out in in FFIX? That looks cool. Either that, or Djose Temple (in FFX-2), but with non-crap music.

Hmmm... This makes me wonder if I actually lived in any of these towns, would I hear the music? Would it go on forever?

I might pull my hair out, no matter how much I like the music, night and day, the town theme music coming out of nowhere....all the time.....

Well, if your town had an important place, you could go there for a change of music

...With music being ignored, I would want to live in Narshe. Neutral town, lots of tech, and its nice and chilly... and I live in the mountains, and near Moogles galore! But of course... would I want to live there after the Floating Continent event in the game? Probably not.

I WOULDN'T want to live in Zozo at any time. Too much.... killing.

Oh, and I take it the Tiamat fight rumor is false, right?

I'd love to live in:

  • I believe the name was Mirage? The half consumed town in the woods on Cresant Island in Final Fantasy V. Perfect place to get the hell away from everyone.
  • Under the aforementioned Cresent Island would be pretty cool, too. Living in relative solitude, a semi-busy town not too far away, constant exposure to ancient, advanced machinery... why not?
  • Narshe. Sure, it's cold, but they've got some powerful furnaces (amoung other gadgets). The main reason being the Moogles. I'd love to live near Moogles.
  • Thamasa would also be a nice getaway, and I'd be living with blue mages.
  • Figaro Castle is just friggin' cool.
  • Jidoor, the lap of luxury!
  • Alexandria is huge and beautiful, right on the edge of a waterfall.

The list would be so long if I kept going...

Casa del Sol. That place is the place to live. Its looks great and sunny. I would not live in the sector 7 slums or that place in ff7 where the reactor blew up. Mydisyia (don't know how to spell it) would also be a cool place to live

Umm, I think I would have to pick either the Wall Market, but I think I would have to own a shop there. Or Alexandria... In the beginning of FF9..

Least would have to be the Midgar slums. Just because I'd be scared of that sick old man in the little tube.

I would love to live in Zozo! It's so badass there! But under any circumstances, I would not want to live in:
    -Nibelheim
    -Teh Slums
-Any of those Dwarven villages(they're in the fricking underworld!)
    -Nothing from FF8, too boring.
    -Burmecia

Places I'd like to live BESIDES Zozo:
    -Cosmo Canyon
    -Juno(possibly)
    -Alexandria
    -Lindblum
-The Floating Continent from FF6, after having the monsters exterminated.

    Log Cabin - FFVII
Seems nice and secluded. Definately a nice place to watch the Northern Lights from.

    Figaro Castle - FFVI
Lots of machines and cool things... And the company of a certain young lecherous king

    Cosmo Canyon - FFVII
Studying the stars is a wonderful way to live. A campfire every night, too

And the least likely place I'd live... Zozo, FFVI...

All the FF8 cities are cool, especially the Gardens, though I'd need a vacation once in a while if I lived in Esthar -- no greenery!

Narshe would be great -- I love snow and cold weather and can just imagine sitting down for some tea or hot chocolate as some moogles and sasquatches frolic in the mountains.

Treno is cool too, in a 18th-century-Deling-City kind of way.

Nobody's mentioned Wutai and its funky Chinese ambience yet!

What is this Tiamat fight rumor?

Frankly, I thought that Midgaard was fascinating. Not really a place for me, but it would be quite interesting for a visit.

If I had to live in any town...I'd have to say Nifelheim. Nusseled in the mountains, nice, quiet, quaint...Destroyed by Sephiroth...

I would have liked to see more of Sector 1 (? the nice-looking area that the camera pans over in the opening and where Cloud jumps on to the train).[

But now I think my vote's got to go to Dollet! Cool 19th-century atmosphere and nifty waltz music in the background!

I forgot the name of that one place where the music was more interesting than the other towns in FF8. I think it was Daly city or something I think it started with a D but I'm not entirely sure. It's where they're at towards the end of disc 1 Treno from FF9 reminded of that city too. I think I just liked the set up of it and how it would always be night time there . Midgar was cool too. There were so many different areas.
