| I just found an awesome game made in MFX by a guy from Polland after a trip through Google, looking for fan games. GAME PAGE This is THE BEST MARIO NON OFFICIAL GAME IVE EVER PLAYED!  It is smb llevels esque, but it has a lot of elements from other Mario games. It is 100000000 times better than the Nintendo's original smb and smbllevels! Please d/l it, and have hours and hours of fun w/ it, Im at the 4th world...and...i...cant...stop....playing....  |

| Wow.... thats all I can say. Incredible job this guy did. The rips are done perfectly, and the GFX are smooth  . The songs are ripped perfectly, and his new remixes are awesome.Mario may jump a bit too high, but that doesnt bug me a bit  Incredible game... very incredible. | I got a problem with Mario Forever (first link on this thread)... I made it to the third world's castle. After a while, I enter an impossible-to-clear dark zone. No matter what I do, I just can't clear it becease that I can't see anything. I can't see Mario, the enemies, the level, or even the status bar. Just a big black screen... until the next death. Maybe an event error? NOTE: I have Windows XP. Is the game incompatible? | I read that this game wouldnt work well w/ windows XP, and, if you use XP, you have to restart your pc at least one time per hour coz the game turns slow during long times of play. I use XP, and it hapened to me the slow speed problem, but in castle 3, at the dark part, I could see the level perfectly, even tho i use XP, so i guess its not XP's problem, perhaps you have to fix some of your images configurations at your pc |

Its not that great, and the sprites are certainly not perfect rips. Its kind of fun, but you might as well hack SMB or SMA and throw in a little SMW.  |

Hm , I think there was an extra live somewhere  BTW there is no castle in world 5 , thats strange  I finished 6-2 - i'm now on 6-Castle It's repeating castle (like those in SMB) - I think trere is a bug in that level There are 3 paths at the start of the level - all 3 are wrong Maybe it's the last level  |

| This game is certainly fun, but ADJUST THE CONTROLS SO THAT JUMP IS NOT SHIFT before playing. Nothing like having your game CONTINUALLY INTERRUPTED with "You have pressed Shift five times in a row. Would you like to set..." and some stupid Windows garbage. | |||

| It's pretty well done, but there are many flaws. When you hit a block above you, you lose almost all of your speed and likely fall into a pit. There are invisable blocks in places where that'll kill you repeatedly. There are places where you get two choices of where to go but one of them will just kill you. And the play controll is just plain lousy. When you jump with a slight bit of speed and move back and forth while jumping, you can jump higher than when running. You can't jump while ducking. The author used something like speed += 1 to do running, when in proper mario games you just start going a certain speed and then speed up instantly. Jumping sometimes fails. I'll stop though.
