I'm pretty sure you can. Try looking at Best Buy or Circuit City.

If your looking for a port for a snes pad, adapters are fairly easy to find online.

Thnaks for the info. I remember seeing a port for using the N64 controller with the PC, and thats what I need for the snes controller. I have found one, but now I need to know if its possible to use it with Zsnes? If not, is it useable with another emulator? I don't want to waste money on something that wont work for my needs. |

I imagine it works just like a normal joystick, so it should be possible.

Yes, the emulator does not recognize it as specifically an n64 controller, but simply as gamepad input. So it will work fine. I believe the adapter for the n64 controller is called an "adaptoid."

Oh, im looking for a snes conroller output, I was just using the n64 controller as an example, because I knew 100% they existed. Now I have found a Snes one and I will be getting that. I can't wait, my keyboard is to hard to use for SMW.

You'll find Retro Controllers here all USB too & for a cheap price to boot. They got from 8Bit Nes to SNES Super Advantage & Super Nes controllers also. Don't take my word for it, go to the link... http://www.sealiecomputing.com/retrozone/index.html |

I dunno, I'd be careful about buying computer controllers, even if they look good. I bought about 3 computer controllers and they never controlled right. I use the PS controller adaptor. They still have advertiements for them on Zophar.net All it is is a port that allows u to plug in the PS controllers, I used them on all my emulators: NES, SNES,Genesis,Arcade,GBA,N64, no probs. But, I doubt that if u had a SNES controller adaptor that it would allow u to use the SNES mouse. |

*Laughs* You could use the Mario Paint mouse on your computer! Oh, that would be awesome. *Hugs his pile of old Gaming stuff* |

I remember using the SNES mouse with my other games. I could spin jump in SMW with the right mouse button, but that was about it, I think. I guess it emulated the A button, I think it was. I've got two of these "Super Joy Box" things that enables you to plug in a GC controller. Perfect for SNES and NES emulation. I'm planning to buy one of those Hori Digital controllers later on, just so I can get a better direction pad. |

Originally posted by Jesper This controller is a must buy; I got one since I bought Soul Calibur II..For the combos, this is a great addon. Yeah, Lik-Sang got them all, from n64 usb adaptors to psx-ps2 usb adaptors.. those are teh best. I play N64 games on the PC with my N64 controller and various other games with my PSX controller... I could have bought snes ones, but I feel that the psx controller is good enought... so I even use it with zsnes... Lik-Sang Smartjoy Corner.. (edited by Comrade Kalashnovich on 08-31-04 08:14 AM) |

Even better, thoose things looks licensed. The D-pad is patented by Nintendo (i'm not kidding) and I seldom see the Nintendo Gamecube logo on pirated products.

Yes, it's semi-approved by Nintendo. They probably wouldn't do it themselves anyway because a) they want people to go out and buy a GBA to control their GBA games on GC with, and b) the GBA is already getting a big enough reputation as a vehicle for rereleases. |
