Hey! I made a cool game! It's called "I poisoned half the food, so if you eat you might die!" Have a taco.

Sometimes more.

But don't be fooled by the seemingly random thread title; this has a point. I'm here to talk about... Dandruff.

I hate the stuff. You can take a shower and use dandruff shampoo but it stays there.

I'm considering setting my hair on fire. That would probably get rid of it. Scratching and cutting sure doesn't though.

By the way, despite the fact that the collapsed cieling tiles have been replaced and it's no longer leaking, the office still smells of mold.

My bathroom smells rotten, not because the toilet has been shitted out but because it's being renovated

Setting your hair on fire would be a great laugh. For added effect pour petrol or any other highly inflammable substance upon your noggin and set fire to it. A real "blast".

Inflammable and Flammable mean the same thing, by the way. I suppose you already knew this, though...

Just scratch your head until there is no more to scratch off. I don't really know. I don't get dandruff, because I drink so much water and my skin is moist. Try that instead of the fire. If you do the fire, take a picture and post t for all to see.

For your office, get one of those air purifiers. It should help some.

And if you DO wind up setting your hair on fire, dont come crying to us when something bad happens.

I used to have it... then it just went away.

Honest. No changing of shampoo brands or anything of the sort. Mind you, I still get it once in a blue moon... strange.

I only have a little bit of dandruff, it's not really so bad that I'd need to set my hair on fire for it, I usually keep myself well bathed and thus it isn't much of a problem for me. But, at the same time it IS annoying when I can't shake my head without a few tiny flakes falling out. Doesn't happen too often but when it does, man is it irritating...

Ugh. I used to have really bad dandruff, but now it's just downgraded to dandruff.

If I shake my head, it doesn't like fly out, I have to ruffle the scalp area.

Don't burn it off. Burning hair/flesh smells HORRIBLE.
I used to have such bad dandruff, if I simply ran my fingers back and forth through my hair, I could pretty much cover a sheet of paper with it. I'm not sure why, but it's gone away now...

Same, heck it used to smell terrible but it's better now.

There is some damage done due to humidity. On the floor... we have to replace some of it.

I have TERRIBLE dandruff... I could wash my hair twice a day (once in the morning, once in the evening) for a week straight, and if I forget on the 8th day, it's back in full force.
And what's even worse is the itching.

Mine wasn't itchy. Sure you don't have lice?
After mine had mostly died down, I found there was still a bunch stuck to my scalp, but it seems to have disappeared too.

No, I don't have lice.
I don't know why it itches, but since the itch is usually gone when the dandruff is, I would assume they're related somehow.

It's itchy, because dandruff is the result of dry, itchy, scalp. Dry skin itches, therefore, so does your dandruff.

I'd like to see this backed up with factual evidence. If that were true then bathing frequently would solve the problem and it does not.

Actually, that could actually irritate the skin further. A dry climate is also bad for your scalp. Is it snowing where you're at currently?

I could honestly back this up with factual evidence, but since it's not getting late here, but early, and that I got up at 6:45 this morning, I'm just going to say screw it, I'm too damn lazy.

It hasn't snowed in about 6 months.
As you could tell if you looked at my location, I'm in the middle of Europe, where it currently happens to be the hottest time of the year.

I was talking to kyouji, but anyway.

Is it humid where you're at, or is it horribly dry?
