i'll try, GB Boy...
yeah, this hack sounds GREAT! Can' wait for the MP3 demo!
you know, how do you make new palettes? then I could make a Rubikon script to check the time (if someone developes/discovers a/the command) and then use the palette (if someone developes/discovers a/the command to switch palettes)...
but nice work. sounds promisin'. If ya make an IPS, please tell me where to get it.
By the way, no worries about my Ruby problem...'cause it's solved! I now have both Sapphire AXPE and Ruby AXVE!

Setweather can do the darkness just fine. As for reading the time, no go yet.

ah. I know. but there may be some tiles that don't support it.
e.x.
Fog of Mt. Pyre at Lilycove.
Pieces of the roof are over the fog, not behind.
but Nintendo probably made the bit dark use a palette, so you probably wouldn't need to make a new palette. I still wanna know how!

I have some pictures I'm planning to upload, but you know, I'm this close not to doing it. you want to know why? Stupid fucks who like to come and take credit for doing somthing they never did. People taking credit for sprites, for lots of things that I put alot of hard work into fo my hack. I don't care what anyone else says, because I founded this hack, it was mine, and if anyone is trying to take credit for anything (excluding those who I already credited) they have no right. And on top of all that, I'm sick of getting IMs and requests asking how to do things, asking me to do stuff for people, and my data SOMEHOW getting leaked. You know who you are, and you have no right. Also, let me stress again that I founded the hack. Just in case anyone else tries to take credit for it. you know who you are. this isn't yours, so just back off.

that asside, I will now continue to upload the media I was to dispurse. One more thing to set me off and I swear this will be a private release...

Intro is very well done. There is a skip near the beginning, but nothing else seems to be wrong with it. How did you sequence those? Nero?

my sequencer of choice would be Cakewalk pro Audio 9. I know Cakewalk Sonar is out, but I hate the GUI on that, and its the only noticable difference in my mind so I just stuck with 9. It'll basicly tend to all your MIDI needs. After I sequenced the song, I ran them through Fired Red instrument samples using Audio Compositor.

How do you filter it appropriately to be supported by gba 16-channel sound?

hmm? Basicly, the engine Pokemon Fired Red uses is a close close variant of MIDI...in fact so close that a converter that extracted midis from games of this format (known as Sappy) was created a little while back

this sounds like a great hack, I'll play it as soon as a demo comes out. how do you edit the music (not as in, change what's played, I mean how do you edit the music data and import/export the music)?

way too big of a subject to devulge into here....perhaps at a later time I'll concider doing a writeup on it, but for now, I think it would be best to keep a few heads from exploding
