You keep putting up good against good.  Well, I'm a big fan of The Verve, but I'm also a big fan of Travis. I haven't heard much of Ashcroft's solo material, but I guess you have to count The Verve when deciding who to vote for. "The Drugs Don't Work" is a beautiful song, but "Driftwood" is equally beautiful. I'm a huge Oasis-fan, and I know Ashcroft is a close and personal friend of Noel, but should I then vote Ashcroft because of that? "Cast No Shadow" is a beautiful song, after all (cookie to anyone who knows what I'm talking about  ).Well, I guess, in the end, I'm a bigger fan of Travis than I am of The Verve/Ashcroft. Ashcroft's friendship with Oasis aside, I would have to vote Travis. It probably won't matter anyway, since I'm fairly sure Ashcroft's going to take this one anyway. Whoever wins is good, anyway. |
