| OOC Normal rules and please no interfering. Origin was atop his tower always waiting a bold adventurer to challenge him, but now he seemed to always be wating for a challenge instead of challenging. The tower top was the perfect place to fight as energy seemed to be easily concentrated there. Orgin stood up and looked towards the trap door leading to the tower top. He was certain he had heard a sound and waited and watched. "Good I have been waiting a bit longer than ussual." |

| OOC: You didn't specify a character, so I thought I'd put a quick twist into this one... From either side of Origin, a sound can be heard. From the trapdoor, up bursts a young man in a red baseball cap wielding a hammer that looks suspiciously as though it was fashioned out of a duffel bag. Janus: "Good, I seem to have finally gotten away from them." He looks over to Origin. "Oh, hello there, forgive my intrusion, but do you mind if I hide out here for awhile? I seem to be being followed." From behind Origin, a trio of men in black suits with radically colored hair and black sunglasses teleport into the scene. One of them, a tall, lean man with red hair, speaks. Red: "We've finally caught up to you, Janus! Prepare to suck down the sweet taste of justice, served special just for you from the White Light!" The second man, slightly stockier but with an intense stare and even more intense blue hair, pipes in quietly. Blue: "A bit overdramatic, methinks?" The third, green haired and younger than Janus looks, jumps excitedly at Red's words, proud to be working alongside a legend such as him. Green: "No way! That was cool, Red. Just look at him, he's shaking in his shoes! You just can't help but love making an entrance like that!" Janus is indeed shaking in his shoes, filled to the brim with fear and hoping dearly that he will be able to get away from the three men, whom he obviously considers very dangerous. Backing almost to the edge of the tower's top, he suddenly looks to Origin pleadingly. Janus: "Uh... I know it's kind of strange to ask you this, seeing as how we haven't even been introduced yet, but I was wondering if perhaps you could help me get these three off my tail? They've been trying to kill me for awhile now, and it always seems that just when I think I've finally found some peace, they have to pop up and ruin it all... Can you help me?" |

| "Why not I have nothing better to do, and you did make it through my tower. That must mean you are kind of strong, and if you are afraid of them then that must mean they are powerful. I hope they realise who I am though." Origin looked over at the three figures really confused how they got through his barrier. It was made to keep everything out and everything in. The only way up here was to make it through the tower. He didn't have time to worry though he took out both his blade spears and expressed his power by sending a wave of energy around him. "I don't care who you are, but breaking through my barrier is impressive. Let's see how strong you are. Even three versus one I don't really care." Origin flew into the sky and charged down at Red figuring that taking the leader out would cripple the other two. The wind seemed to cut in front of Origin as he steadily grew faster. OOC Yeah I know, because you have more than one character. If I said Origin vs Janus you would only have him to fight with while I got to choose who I could fight with. All in a way of course. |

| OOC: This is pretty much how you chose who you're gonna fight, it's Origin vs. Red now. Just to spice things up, I'll have Janus fighting in the background, he might provide some unexpected help should the other two decide to switch targets. Janus: "Perfect! I can take the green and blue guy on easy, you just have to deal with Red! I'll keep them out of your hair if you make sure Red doesn't come after me." With a flourish of his hammer, Janus speeds toward Green and Blue, who in turn run toward him. Green, with his superspeed, naturally gets to Janus first. Attempting a lightning fast punch to Janus' head, Janus easily ducks it, and trips him with the hammer, slamming his head on the ground and knocking him out in the process. Janus: "See? All too easy." Blue: "Not quite, Janus. I would suggest not trying that same attack again against me." He looks to Origin. "And as far as your barrier goes, it was a simple matter of creating an intangibility setting for our teleportation devices, we technically did not break through anything, simply displaced ourselves outside the barrier and replaced ourselves inside it. But enough talk..." Blue suddenly extracts the water vapor from the air and concentrates it, frezing it into a handheld shield of solid ice. As he did this, Red was having problems of his own. Origin's charge is getting very dangerous looking, and Red realizes he's only gonna have one shot at what he's trying to do... Red: "Dammit, I wasn't expecting him to have help. Alright, big guy, let's see what you can do!" Bracing himself, and grinning smugly at Origin's charge, Red suddenly does the impossible, and actually catches Origin, stopping him short and dispersing the slicing winds of his high-speed dive. The two are sent flying backwards, as Red's shoes skid along the ground and slowly the combatants come to a stop. It's a bit of a shock to him, and he seems dazed at the high-powered impact of the dive, but the very fact that Red was willing to get in front of such an attack and try to stop it, and succeed, shows a rather reckless man who is totally confident in his skills. Red: "Woo, I knew that suit upgrade would come in handy! I'll have to thank Blue later... Now for my attack!" Still maintaining a firm grip on Origin, Red uses his inhuman strength leap upwards. From the skies, he flings Origin downward, crashing into the tower. To finish it off, he charges a flaming aura around his body, and suddenly concentrates it all into a moderately large sized fireball aimed straight at Origin! Red: "Let's heat things up a bit!" Janus: "Dammit, would you stop with the cheesy puns?" |

| Origin stops himself about 2 inches above the tower. When he sees the fire ball he starts to laugh. He was once the Dark Pheonix and this fire was weak compared to his, but Origin was prepared for ranged attacks. He stood up and thrusted his spear towards the fire ball. An energy blast came out and crashed into the fire ball. The attacks cancled each other out, but Origin was already charging. "You surprised me. I didn't think someone would be bold enough to do that. Your technology wont work as well here. This tower focuses energy of fighters. Janus and I will get a little boost from it. You on the other hand wont." |

| Red's flaming aura flares even higher, boosted by the power fo the tower. Red: "I dunno what you're trying to say, cause there ain't nothing technological about THIS!" Red suddenly fires himself toward the ground, fueled by the raging flames around him, and is attempting to smash into Origin like a comet! This attack is much stronger than the last one, combining fire with a physical blow. "Let's see you laugh at this!" |

| "I can barely contain myself from lasting. You do know I use a spear right, and you do know what is going to happen right?" Origin puts his spear up so that is Red continues charging he will just skewer himself. Origin readies his other spear to gaurd if he decides to change directions. Origin had fought many opponets but never one to charge into his spear, but he realised he forgot something the fire would still hit him even if Red stopped right before the spear. Origin jumped away with barely a second to spare. He started flying and got a safe distance away. |

| Red: "Haha, picked this move up from Hammerboy himself!!! Earthquake Punch!!!" Red slams screaming into the platform, discharging his aura and sending jets of flame upward in Origin's direction, but right before the flames could possibly hit... Janus: "Stop stealing my attacks, Red!" A hammer spins straight at Red, knocking him off balance and disrupting the jets of flame! Janus has disposed of Blue temporarily, who appears to be lying on the ground, pieces of shattered ice around his body. As a followup, Janus catches his hammer, and slams it directly into Red, sending him flying straight toward Origin! If Origin can manage to attack Red while he's flying, it should hurt a lot... "Here he comes, hit him as hard as you can!" Green: "I won't let you hurt Red!" Immediately after Janus slams Red toward Origin, Green, apparently recovered from his short nap, zaps Janus with a sucker punch blow of electricity! As Janus falls to the ground, temporarily paralyzed, Green dashes in Origin's direction, hoping to stop him from attacking Red! "I'll save you, sir!" |

| "You are a little to fast for your own good. I doubt you will be able to stop in time to avoid my attack." Origin charged towards Red doing a shoulder charge not wanting to instantly kill Red, but Green on the other hand would get the blunt of Origin's attack. Origin hurled his left hand spear towards Green. The spear seemed to change position randomly as the air seared around it. Catching would be near impossible and dodging would be incredibly hard. |

| Green: "Who said I'm stopping?" Green leaps into the sky, high into the air, a hydraulically powered jump to the heavens... ....And gets slammed in the side with a flying hammer as Red crashes to the ground in a heap. Janus: "You stopped me from moving... not from attacking!" Red instantly gets to his feet, clearly angry and feeling murderous. His firey aura flares up even higher than before. With everyone but him and Origin currently dispatched, it looks like there's nothing to hold him back from attacking. Red: "Grrrrr.... I don't like losing! Not one bit! Take this!!!" Red takes off like a rocket toward Origin, another foolhardy, hardheadded charge... or is it? |

| "I may have missed your friend, but I won't miss you." Origin takes his remaining spear and charged Red. His spear held out and again making it look like he was cutting through the air. His other spear took off into the sky by itself waiting for the moment to crash back down. |

| Oddly enough, rather than meet Origin's charge, Red suddenly takes a sharp upward turn, following the flying spear! Red: "Sneak attack from above? I don't think so!" Flying faster than the spear, and making sure to keep an eye on it, Red positions himself above it, and releases a white-hot jet of fire down on it, hoping ot force it downward and to hit Origin with the jet of flames in the process! "Now burn, burn with the fire of 1000 suns!" |

| "I don't think you will be able to block that. It is one of my stronger attacks." The spear seemed to continue its path regardless of the heat. Origin charged after Red to try and get an attack. The spear continued going and seemed like nothing could stop it. Origin laughed to himself as he new what would happen later. |

| Red watched as the spear flashed straight through his fire attack, becoming enraged as he is slowly beginning to realize that Origin is considerably stronger than him. Red: "Argh, dammit! I can't just lose right now, we've got Janus right where we want him! I won't go down without a fight! We HAVE to catch him!!!" Red's temper raging and his aura flaring, he meets Origin's charge, preparing to deliver a flurry of fire-powered punches and kicks the second he closes into melee range! "WE WILL CATCH HIM!!!!" |

| At the moment before the collided Origin let his gaud completely down taking the whole force of the attack. He was thrown vilolently into his own tower and the impact was enough to kill almost anything, but Origin slowly got up. "Catch him? What has he done to be chased by the likes of you." Origin was used to this sort of temper and he thought this would either stop it or fuel it more. Origin had estimated the strength from the attack and that was the only reason Red was probably still living. Origin chose to be hurt like that and was aware of what could happen now that he was injured. |

| Red suddenly stops short, drops to the ground, and lets his aura down. He look sat Origin incredulously, surprised that he'd ask such a question. Red slowly removes his sunglasses, revealing a pair of piercing green eyes that seem to stare into Origin's soul. After several seconds of deep thought, Red speaks. Red: "I cannot tell you everything... But trust me when i say we were hired a very long time ago to capture Janus for the good of the world. I don't know what he's done wrong, and nearly every time we meet up with him he never seems to be doing wrong, but our employers have assured us, and given us mountains of proof that Janus is a criminal. Perhaps he's reformed, but we've seen evidence of many violent acts that he's performed in the past, and whether they are faked or not, the fact remains that he is still a dangerous man, and he does pose a potential threat to the world. As bringers of justice, we, the White Light, have to neutralize him, any way we can." Red's aura flares up again, as he pushes his sunglasses back over his eyes. "If you're going to stand in our way, I've got to neutralize you, too..." Red stands at the ready for Origin's next attack, assuming he decides to... |

| "I am sorry to say this, but I severly doubt Janus has done anything wrong. Even if it was a long time ago he must have redeemed by now. I can't let you harm him here though, and I can't allow you to desecrate my tower." All at once the tower repaired itself, all the makrs from the fight just seemed to disappear. Origin took up his charge flying towards Red spear out. Origin had known bounty hunters and assassins for a long time, but they always knew first hand what the person had done. These warriors were doing a crime themselves not knowing what Janus had done, or if he had even done anything. |

| Red catapaulted over Origin's charge, retaliating by firingdozens of tiny fireballs from his fingertips, a flaming barrage intent on sending Origin off balance! However, halfway through his assualt, Red suddenly hears a voice of reason... Blue: "Red, perhaps this man is correct..." It's Blue, back on his feet from Janus' assault. Shards of ice are floating around him as he walks toward Red, past Origin and the now motionless bodies of Janus and Green. As he tries to talk to the raging Red, his voice is cold and emotionless. "Red, we need to seriously rethink our tactics here. Whenever we've clashed with Janus, has he really done wrong? I'm sorry, but I fail to see why we have to fight him today." Red: "Blue, it's the principle of the thing nowadays. I don't know why we fight him either, but we do, and that's what we have to do because it's what we've been ordered to do." Red turns to Origin. "We're really nothing but mercenaries in this case... Once, we used to be the greatest peacekeepers of the world, but ever since this assignment with Janus, it seems like we've done less saving the world and more harming it... If I knew why we fought him, perhaps then we'd be able to defeat him. We always lose to him, you know. Something always holds us back from really finishing the job." Red gives the nod to Blue, who picks up Green's body. "Blue, take Green back to base. I don't see why we have to fight anymore today. Just let me finish this fight, this duel between men. I owe it to this fellow for the trouble we've caused him, owe him the chance to pay me back for the destruction on his tower that I've caused. Janus can wait for another day, when we know more about what's going on..." Blue, still holding Green's body, pressed a few buttons on his wristwatch. Instantly he and Gree are teleported away, leaving only Red, Origin, and the knocked out Janus at the top of the tower. Red prepares to fight once again. "I'm sorry for the trouble we've caused you. Shall we continue this unabated? I'm sure Janus will leave when he wakes up." |

| "I am glad you arn't blinded anymore. Yes lets finish now while we have the chance." Origin had dodged the fire balls and turned towards Red. He was glad that he could now fight without worrying if this fighter would end his life uncertain. Origin hel his spear out and flew high into the sky. He took up a suicide dive straight for Red and prepared to either finish this battle here and now, or injure himself. |

| Red sighs, smiles, and lets Origin hit him full force with his attack. Origin's spear plows straight through Red's soft flesh, as a spray of blood erupts from his midsection. Red immediately coughs up an almost equal amount of blood, and as Origin releases from his charge, the recently impaled body of Red collapses to the ground, just as Janus rises from his paralysis. Immediately Janus sees Red's body, and rushes to it, trying to see what Origin did while he was out. Janus: "Holy crap! What'd you do to him? Dammit, at this rate he won't last long... I'll have to act fast." Janus reaches into his bag, pulls out a disc, and desperately searches it for the technique he is looking for... "Sheesh, I really was hoping you wouldn't kill him... It's ok though, I think this should help. Thank you very much for your assistance with these guys, I'm pretty sure they're not gonna bother you again." "What really gets me is how hard you hit Red... He wouldn't just let himself get hit like this unless he WANTED to lose. You're definitely a strong guy though, if you could do this much damage to someone. That's commendable. Maybe you should go into peacekeeping?" |
