So,There is a Beta Test Version of Pokemon Gold right?,Is it Rare or something,I don't know where to get it,I serached whole Google and can't find it.But i really wanna know if this is worth having it or is it a crappy pirate?
They say this version of gold is EXTREMELY RARE,It seems to,No info on google,It doesn't exist on the net neither in places to go buy it

If you're having trouble finding it, then it probably doesn't exist. It's just a rumor.

And even if it does exist, chances are it is in fact a pirate not worth your time.

the screens were real beta screenshots. To my knowledge, there is no playable rom dump released of this, nor is there a playable cartridge. Correct me if I am wrong on this please.

Yes,The Screens are of a REAL BETA but the cartdrige of it wasnt a beta cartdrige because betas don't come without box and manualsand only with a weird cartdrige. And well,That one selling on e-bay was just an Expansion Pack for Red and Blue,Nothing more to do.But that one that they were selling on e-bay was probably a red version in the cartdrige of Gold, but wit hthe diff sticker,It's just fake,it was just for the guy get some money. And it was a Collectors Edition,But it might not exist,Nobody knows.

*ding* Good job.

Lord knows how you'd be able to make an "expansion" for a GB game without resorting to Sonic & Knuckles technology... And even then that's too much.

I dunno, I thought Sonic and Knuckles was pretty good. It's been a long time, actually, since games like that were made, where the cartridge itself connects to another cart. Nowadays we have memory cards and stuff like that, so expansion packs for games are much easier to pull off. But for stuff like the GBA, we could use some kind of technology similar to Sonic and Knuckles to make games bigger. Like Golden Sun, for example. If you could combine the two cartridges (GS and GS 2) together (since they're supposed to be heavily based off each other), you'd be able to import your old character data that they lock you out of when you finish Golden Sun into Golden Sun 2, and have a new game to play, rather than the storyline that GS 2 provides. It's a good idea, in my opinion.
