Ozzy went down here rapily since his spilt from Black Sabbath. I own 4 Ozzy cassettes and although I'm not to fond of the guy muscially (I think hes below average), his family annoys the hell out of me, and I'll never understand the purpose behind the Osborne show... I wont deny his influence on music...

Actually I'm only voting for him because I don't like Rammstein and believe that Du Hast is the worse song I have heard on the radio in the last 5 years.

Ooh wow, another good match-up. But I'm afraid Ozzy gets my vote for this one. Yes, he has declined since the waning days of Black but he still made some awesome music after that though. And he has one of those singing voices that you just can't compare to anyone elses. It's truly unique.

But I love Rammstein too. Oh, Apple, I'm not a big fan of Du Hast either. I was, until I heard it on the radio and MTV about...ohhhh....TWO BAZILLION TIMES! Have you heard any of their other stuff? I think it's really good.

Yeah, Ozzy still makes pretty good music. I buy his cassettes because of that (I prefer them over CD's) but its no denying hes just dropping rapidly on the awsome scale (Maybe it has to do with my recent change of musical taste?)

I have only heard newer Rammstein. Give me a few of their older songs that are really good in your opinion and i'll check them out.

I'm afraid my vote has to go to the Oz mesieter. I know Sabbath is elsewhere in this vote. But Paranoid is timeless

My vote is for Ozzy. I prefer his old stuff with Black Sabbath to his music today.

Damn, this is a toughie...

I'll go with...Ozzy. I don't think Rammstein, however kickass they may be, I don't think they've reached the same legendary status...yet.

RAMMSTEIN RULE! Before you say anything, go to see 'em live They're overdue for a world tour, so if they drop by, go see them!

Du Hast is a freakin' brilliant song, but my other favorites have to be Seemann, Sehnsucht, Zwitter, Ich Will, Weisses Fleisch and Hallelujah

Evened out the vote...for now.

I'm not big on Ozzy's solo career. Meanwhile, I really enjoy Rammstein. So there you go.

Very odd pairing though...Ozzy and Rammstein.

Odd? You've got to be joking! In the metal business, they could be cousins, judging by the stage performances...

I assume, Legion, that you are refering to Buck Dich Yes, they did that when I went to see them live They also got the dinghy out for Seemann, but that was the second encore and I was already ahead of the croud leaving.

Thousdands of people trying to get on the Docklands Light Railway ain't fun at all

I went with Ozzy. Rammstein are certainly a very good band, but...C'mon, it's Ozzy.

Musically, Rammstein and Ozzy Osbourne just don't have much in common. Ozzy is this '80s metal thing with soaring guitars and such, while Rammstein is a sort of dance-techno metal thing. The music of both bands certainly don't sound alike.

I think she was referring to stage performances, not musical style.

Anyway, although I can't deny the influence Ozzy has had on the music scene, when it comes down to 'What do I want to listen to today?' I have to go with Ramnstein. I could never get into Ozzy on a musical level.
