Here is a screen of an entire level I did today using a smb3 set I finished today.
I am putting all the level coz I wanted to use this set with many ways. It is a difficult level, as you can see. But this level will probably be at world 6 or 7.

Here's the screen:

Opinions please

Fugly clouds (both BG and FG), that "!" block looks out of place,
and I dispise anything using the "^" symbol for eyes ('specially
that Koopa, looks like he's jacking off or something ). There's a
misplaced Pirahana Plant or two, the back end of the Bullets are red,
and that "cage field" vines and wide open spaces just doesn't fit the
level's theme established by the beginning. Avoid doing that.

that was actually made on purpose. that was done to make some piranhas look shorter, as in smb3 (in smb3 there's normal and piranhas). So, the ones with their vines down the pipes look like they are smaller, only their 'heads' appear

those are the bills from smb1 their backs are red too, in the game it looks cool, imo

ow ok, i guess it is better to put that part in another level then thanks

What you need to do to fix the "!" block is
to make it wider and taller. Notice that small hole
between the bricks and the block? Yeah, ugly.

I agree that the chain-link fence stuff should be its own level.

What's the deal with that Beezo with the star over his head way up at the top, about 2/3 through the level?

It means its a generator. It wont show up like this in mid game, it just means it generates 'beezos'

I'm wagering the Beezos are ex-Super Koopas...

I've seen Piranha Plants used before as to where only their head sticks out, and not the vine. I think it's tacky, but at least you wouldn't be alone in doing so.

A mushroom coming out of a wooden block? How exactly does that work....

Near the end of the level, there's a part where some of the ground is overlapping other parts of the ground. Doesn't look too good, especially since the ground it's overlapping isn't level. You should put a definitive end to each part where the next begins.

I don't really see the gate/vine part of the level breaking the overall theme of the level. Considering most of the level seems to be "tricky jumping up in the sky," with occasional "regular SMB3-style plains" thrown in for good measure, the gate/vine section seems to fit in fine.

At the beginning of the gate section, there's a small area you could get trapped if you're Small Mario, forced to wait until time runs out to die. You should never leave a situation that forces you to wait for time to run out. At the very least, you should put a Muncher in there to allow you to commit suicide, should you become trapped. Or better yet, replace the turn blocks with bricks.

What is that weird-looking thing at the end of the level? Aside from weird-looking? I hope that looks better in the game....

It looks good but...

The ^ mark for eyes really doesn't work, as asdf mentioned.

Also, there is the weird thing at the end of the level that none of us know.

Last of all, what is the smile about 2/3 through the level?

Its a nice use of ripping. As previously mentioned, the clouds and the ! block need work. Im assuming the mini piranah plant is the animated hurt block?

Though im a bit puzzled as to what the panzers are replacing .

Overall its good... theough I wish you hadnt made such a long screenshot...

Good use of ripping: yes.
Some errors: yes.
One of the plants are not placed properly. The one closest to the Bullet Bills should be fixed.

And there is one very bad thing about this screenshot: You see the entire level. Never show the entire level, as people will already know how to beat it and then the level won't be fun.

The length of the level scares me, too. It looks as though it takes up all the screens.

it uses all the screens of LM, but since this is a level at the last worlds, an it isn't so difficult, I made it a bit long

tnks for the comments

Oh... so if it is one of the last levels in the game, then I guess it is ok to be long. But the errors should be fixed.

And that weird thing at the end of the level... I think it is the question sphere. It is the end of the level, after all...

Before the first bridge consisting of SMB 1 tiles, you have an option either to make larger jumps on these one-block-wide blocks on the bottom or climbing up the vine and going into that tunnel of wooden blocks to collect few coins.
The problem is the fall; usually you won't see the place you need to land (in that case one of the two bullet bill cannons/shooter, the left one probably impossible to reach); so I advice to put a coin guide or at least two coins above the second bullet bill shooter/cannon; so it won't be pure luck/reminiscence; and going _back_ the vine would just consume too much time and nerves. You see the coins from above and are ensured you land correctly.

Hard levels = yes, unfairly low placed platforms with no hint at all = 'teh sucks'

Sure, you just have to put .txt at the end of the filename so it'll actually let you link them. (That's only if you're going to put them in a post as images though, if you're just going to post a link to it, don't bother.)
