| Ok, you've probably heard about the super glitch that allows you to beat the game with just 16 stars. I've tried a lot of times to do this, but I can't seem to get the backwards long jump work. I know that you have to do a normal long jump, keep pressed Z and keep pressing A, but with the analog stick backwards. I can do it, the problem is that I can't do it in the stairs. The glitch is supposed to make me go fast up the stairs with the backwards long jump, but I never been able to go that fast. Any suggestions on how could I make it? (And please, don't tell me that there is a video where it is performed, because I've seen a lot of times but still don't get it.) | |||

| Press Z and A as fast as you can during the long jump, and hope that it works. It most likely will take over 5 minutes... | |||

Its not that hard I just cant do the bunny glitch  .It also helps if you are doing this on the real console. Better coordiation and easier control. Just start at the bottom, turn the camera to face Marios back, long jump, hold back, and start mashing the A button up the stairs. You'll eventually get it.. It just takes some time (and a bit of luck) |

| Heh, same with me. I was frustrated that I couldn't do the bunny glitch and then I did it on my next try, and never I can do it most every time. But the stairs glitch you have to press A really rapidly, and I just can't do that while also holding Z and forward on the control stick. To steady it I have to press it with my thumb if I do that, and I can't tap fast enough with my thumb, just my index finger. | |||

| Yahoo!! I finally got it!! I've beaten the game with just 16 stars, hooray for me!! The problem was that I didn't know that you have to tap A as quickly as you can, that's why I always jumped at the same speed. But know i got it; it's very easy, though. I can do it every time now. |
