You could have at least gotten all the major emus on. It's kind of bad that NESticle is listed, but FCEU isn't  The poll list should include: - FCEUltra - Nintendulator - VirtuaNES And maybe even the other popular ones (even though they're kind of old) like: - JNes - RockNESX - NESten Personally, I use NNNesterJ whenever possible because it has more features that I like. But whenever I'm doing any kind of rom hacking or ROM testing, I go for FCEU. I would use Nintendulator, but it's flakey as hell on my computer. So is NEStopia (I don't think I can even run NEStopia without a slew of bugs). So yeah.. Tossup between FCEUd/NNNJ |

| FCE Ultra. Definitely...unless you're running a piece of junk comp still that wouldn't be able to use it. DOS-wise...probably still Nesticle if not loopynes...I liked those two a lot back on my old 200 w/ WIN98. |

Nesticle is still good *IF* you have a POS PC.  I'm talking 486 level here.FCE Ultra... I've only played with it a bit but it's OK. I need to use it more. Nester is also good but I have so many NES emus...At least it's good to see that there's a bunch of GOOD options available for the NES. Not like some other systems where one emulator has a monopoly. |

| My favorite was Nesticle until I got Windows 2000, simply because of its speed and features ... Now I like FCEUd for its near perfect emulation and the debugger ... NNNesterJ does have more features and VirtuaNES also looks nice, but I haven't looked much at the newer NES emulators  |

| NNNesterJ is my main playing emu, mainly because of it's features. FCEU I use for debugging (which I am looking into further) but seems to not run in sync when the debugger is turned on. | FWNES was fun, mostly because of its memory editing features ... but it ran a bit slow on my old Pentium 200MHz (didn't quite reach 60fps, and there's no auto frameskip), and doesn't work at all in Windows NT/2000/XP And now VirtuaNES has a memory editor too ... Its emulation, although better than Nesticle's, wasn't really the best anyway ... I remember it sometimes mixed up the square sounds (like using a 50% square instead of 25%) ... Another thing about FCEUd is that it's the only emulator I've seen that runs Klax perfectly It didn't work at all in Nesticle, it was screwy in FWNES, it had a few minor graphic problems even in LoopyNES and NNNesterJ ... but I'm not sure about VirtuaNES, Nestopia and Nintendulator |
