Hmmm, ok. I'll throw one at ya.

What are your religious beliefs? That, and have they changed at all during the course of your life and if so, why?

oooh! Good one!

I was baptised a Welsh Methodist, this involved such things as me going to chapel and being baptised at home (in the sink, although it was a silver bowl , and also holy water was involved apparently). Chapel was boring, and dull, VERY dull. Everyone wore gray and droned on about something depressing. I was on my way to hell you see and had to WORK for my Salvation. So, at an early age I said "Bugger that", and so my Mum tried to get her into HER religion, which was CHursh of England.
The Churches were certainly prettier, and bigger. They had nice cushions to kneel on, but I got in trouble in Sunday School for asking questions like "Why are we still here?" "Does God have a Girlfriend?" and "What the hell does painting Pebbles have to do with the bible?"
The parents let me sit it out, but then I still believed in God, he was P-ing me off for not giving me answers but I believed in Him, as much as any boy could be. Then my Grandmother fell ill. SHe'd practically raised me and I worshipped her, she was my entire world,. and I was only 9 years oild. I prayed every night and day for God to spare her, every waking moment I did so, I even asked God to take me in her place, and wished against everything. I knew God could do it, because.... well he was God. The thing is, he didn't and she passed away soon after, at the funeral I heard people laughing and making fun of my grandmother (as she was old fashioned), and I thought, "The woman who raised me, and meant everytthing to me has been taken away, while these cruel people are allowed to gloat and live. I don't WANT to worship a god that lets that happen"
So, since then I've been an agnostic and a humanist, I believe we govern ourselves and NOT some higher power. When I'm in dire straits I look for the help of myself and my friends, not divine intervention. My sister turned out to be Catholic, my dad's an athiest whilst my Mum is still adevout member of the CoE. God helps Mum and my sister get through their trials, I prefer to do that myself.

Do you play DDR(Dancing Stage)? And if so, what's your best ranking?

Yes I do, but not on a Mat, and pretty badly. to be honest I've recently moved on to Stepmania as it's cheaper (well, it's free!) and I still geta kick from it.

the best I've ever got is AAA/Perfect on Dancing Stage Disney Mix, the tracks were "Mickey Mouse March, Eurobeat Edition", "Macho Duck" and "Night of Fire". That was on maniac, but I did use "Little" mode, so not sure if it counts.

Dormento - Urgh! Can't you get a black one? In that case, Blue. Brown Suits never look nice, My sister hada brown School uniform and it made her look like a turd.

Ultimanium - We don't have those over here, my uber chocolate would have to be the large white chocolate Tolerone. I only have one once a year and they're REALLY nice. My fave chocolate bar of all time.

EvilerLegion - Hmm....I would have liked to have been more charismatic and confident, it's taken me a while to ebcome as confident as I am now and I think this might have held me back (not to mention the fact that I've low self esteem destroying my one true long term reltaionship).

Hm...Interesting life story up there...

OK.

So...What do you think of evolutionary theory? (Bleck. Bad question, but it's the only one I could think of.)

Destiny Smasher - As I 've not really studied into it that much, I tend to agree with it, it certainly seems the most likely explaination for how life developed on planet earth and it's backed up by a ream of scientific evidence, it definatly seems more likely top kme that the fact some divine being put every animal on earth. It doesn't really describe the Dinosaurs, or anything really.

Do you still believe in marriage and true love? And do you agree with gay marriage? (You'd better, or I won't let you come to ours )

Chad - Yes on both counts, just because my experiences in those things haven't been exactly stellar, it doesn't mean I don't believe in it anymore, that would be like supporting a football team all your life and then balining out on them when they're losing.

I believe my soulmate is still out there somewhere, I also believe that true love only exists when it is mutual, in my case it wasn't, as she didn't love me as much as I loved her. She may protest this fact, (and she has), but that's the truth of it, otherwise I'd be over in the US and married by now. Ms Right is out there somewhere, I may even have met her (I may even have dated her, only she doesn't know it yet). When I meet the right girl I WILL marry her, as to me marriage is making a promise to be true to each other for the rest of your life, I don't need the religious things that go with it. Deep down I want to get married, but I have to find the right person first, and even then, I'll have to give it a year or three of us being together and for that woman to gain my trust (not to mention vice versa).
Gay Marriages? Well I don't make that sort of distinction (although the governments of the world seem to), after all, it's the same thing as any heterosexual marriage, you're promising to remain true to each other, so yes I do believe in "Gay" marriages too. (Just let's make sure to have that fling BEFORE you two tie the knot, as I don't believe in extra marital affairs )

Kitten Yiffer - *shrugs* I'm not a Mod/Admin/Higher being, so your guess is as good as mine. On the old MB, this thread was pretty unpopular, so perhaps Anya and Christi are seeing weather it deserves to have a "Stickied" staus, or wether it'll sink like a stone once the novelty wears off.
