To play Zelda and the Four Swords for the gamecube with multiple players it is necessary to own and utilize the GBA. However, is it possible, through careful manipulation, to use a computer GBA emulator to stand in for the real deal? if so, how? if not, call me an ignorant Power Ranger toy nobody plays with anymore.

You ignorant Power Ranger toy that nobody plays with anymore!
It's not possible to link your PC and your Gamecube together and have some GBA emulator on your PC replace the real thing, not for now anyway.

No, but you can hook them up to gamecubes with Game Boy Players in them which are hooked up to TVs. That's sorta the same.

actually, it is possible...problem is no one has written the correct software to get it done. but in theory, it is possible because controller ports are nothing more than wire between two machines, just like the wire between a traditional mouse and the computer.

however, unless someone is willing to write the software, at this point it isn't possible.

SWEET! didn't think anybody would really call me that! thanks for the info gang, i was hoping the situation would be more along the lines of what neotransotaku was mentioning about it being theoretically possible, but then again, so is time travel

"Time travel? How're we gunna do that? does it hurt? I don't wana do it if it hurts or it makes you get all sticky."

I'd like to see a theory by which time travel is possible. And I don't mean going faster than light - while that theoretically would allow one to attain time travel, there aren't any real theories as to how one could travel past the speed of light.

This has nothing to do with the topic but: What about the speed of darkness? I don't think thats light therefore lights to slow to even reach darkness...

And what about the speed of dust? I read a theory about that somewhere.

Ontopic:

I think that this would be possible. If you look at the dexdrive (name?) for the N64, it can hook up to the computer and d/l saves to be transfered onto memory cards. And the game shrak can have a port that will d/l codes. So if there was a cord (like a flattened printer type cord) that was small enough to fit in the back of a GBA (where the game goes in) and then a cord to hook up to your computer, you could have the game running in an emu while it gets d/l to your GBA then to the gamecube.

Like everyone said, it would be possible but I don't think anyone whould want to code the software needed. Would be useless since there are that many games who would need it, anyway.

Darkness doesn't really exist, it's just the absence of light. Therefore, there is no "speed of darkness."

Is there anything brighter than #FFFFFF? I mean in nature, not on a screen. And who says that light isn't the absence of darkness?

Because light can be measured, and has definite sources, whereas you'll never find darkness in a place with a sufficient light source, but it's everywhere where there's no or little light.

Next time, at least TRY to sound like you know what you're talking about.

You Boobs! (hehe, i said boobs)
I didn't mean to start this whole time travel/speed of dark query. Admittedly it is cooler than the original thread. But here we are anyway. Yeah, i have to disagree with the speed of dark, unless you take into account the void that light leaves behind as the seed of dark, in which case would be the same top speed as light.

Does anybody remember in physics something about photons or the like arriving just before light a la dolphins swmming in front of the swell of water a larg ship creates?

That isn't a brightness level, but a hue indicator. You can have a dim FFFFFF and a bright 333333.

Sure, #FFFFFF with the brightness cranked up. Or seriously, the sun.

Back on topic, is there any way to play FS on the GBA LTTP with only one player? It says 2 to 4 players, so it must be possible to do 2/3-player, which means the AI would control the remaining players. So why not 1-player?

In FS on the GBA, there is no AI controlled players.

When there's 3 players, there's 3 links. When there's only 2 players, there's only 2 links.

Also, the dungeons are scaled down when there's only 2 or 3 players.
