I kinda hate them in geneal sometimes, cuz they go on power trips occasionally. That is the problem with the whole mod system. I mean sure it's nice to be able to get rid of blatant flooders/flamers, but that would pretty easily be done by like 4 people, even for this board. The rest of it is kids trying to police people either younger or older and ranging from dumber to smarter and less mature to more mature. I've had, for example, someone close my thread for Christain bashing because I "was makin' stuff up" about evolution lol... I've had threads that were just me and 4 other people talking, somewhat energetically I suppose, abotu christanity etc etc and none of us were remotly offended, and no one else posted there, and it was closed because of how insessitive we were. I've had a thread closed and a 3 day ban for defending a mod! I've had a month ban *That was lifted, at least* for PMing someone a nasty message (WHat are PMs for then if not to keep stuff off of the board?) This was in response to herflaming, revealing the homosexuality of, and harassing another member in threads. She got no ban whatsoever for any of it, cuz all the mods loved her fat, slutt ass . (NOT naming names here!)Long story short, mods and staff in general do more harm that good and they're the ones having the most fun on the board, not the majority aka normal users. ERrm. where was I?
