[whistles] That is some niiice eye-candy. I would just wonder how this is all going to fit together, especially looking at the fact that you have a Dark World to take care of as well. If this all pans out nicely, it's going to be one hell of an LttP hack...and from the looks of it, it already is.

After i finish with my zelda 3 hack, i'll give you a hand in some areas if you want (not design, just some flashy things here and there which ain't going to affect the game, and maybe fixing a few annoying bugs)

I'm going to warn you first though, the ending is not editable in HM, but it's relatively easy to edit if you know how, requires a hex editor, your ideas and stuff which you want to write in it, and a calculator (to calculate pointers), i'll probably look around my some hundreds of text file and put up some info about it later...

This has to be the most completed overworld I've ever seen, ever. Not only that, but there are no visible errors! What's your secret? Did you really rack your sanity navigating through all the predefinied overworld tiles, or build some sort of tool or algorithm or whatnot?

Overworlds will do fine as for me, the only thing that's really gunna buggers me are the OV doors problems, I'm sure you'll do fine for that ! As you know that HEX means nothing for me.. secondly I'm gonna need as much knowledge as I can for editing the dungeons ... That's why I decided to do overworlds first...

I've edited all the tiles I didn't used... Really long job if you ask.

EDIT1: Alrighty, just a little update on the progress:

1- I've done ~50% dark world
2- still redoing a few parts of the light world (redone the layout a bit)
3- that's it for now

EDIT2: Here's the brand new part I was making, hope you enjoy all!! Defenetively this is not going to look like Z3 anymore!



EDIT3:OK! I've updated the LW a little once more: removed 1 bridge, relocated the other one, made one isle..

I'm going on vacancy for the next two weeks, So till then won't be working on the hack.. You can still post your toughts trough

Yes, I still have to put him back to i'ts original phase, that was a test long ago, dunno why I didn't fixed this yet, anyway the sprites I used were missing too much animations, So I let him this way.. hopefully I will repair it before a release that's for sure!

Seriously, I love your Moon Pearl what about making the Quake Medallion having something in common with Quake (the game), at least optically... there surely is something typical about it...

That would be great indeed! Never though of that... And as for the plot black, I was thinking, like the spell could have been cast by a boss (e.g. Aghanim before going awy cast apocalypse, and here's the corrupted world you talked about sometime ago! Anyway, I'm almost over with my dark world, still in the pictures process... very long proces... kinda like the last time... Somehow, I've redone a bit of work for my light world (e.g. new textures... edited hyrule castle in a way thats it's accessible via secret passage and village only.. so I don't get GFX bugs.. Anyway, last post for me.. vacancy finally starting today... So here's the castle and new GFX I was talking about:

there's 2 places in the gfx to modify your item (one to do in on screen like you did already, and the other for item menu, they're different size as you've probably noticed...)

I myself am absolutely hopeless at GFX (apart from rendering 3d objects programming-wise), but i would guess you look into the following sections for the gfx you want to mod...

116 - Items, Objects GFX
205 - Item Screen Items GFX
206 - Item Screen Items 2 GFX
207 - Item Screen Items 3, Contest Rupees GFX

eh. I've made several or more OoT songs, SPC format. Lttp's engine. PM me, or AIM (prefered) if you want to use them. I really dont care, so long asI'm credited *shrugs* I'll insert them for you, too. Yeah, I'll go the extra step. I did a few more modifications such as sample edits that would require just a little more knowledge than HM's "music editor" to impliment.

Orochimaru, Im really good at Dungeon Levels. If you want, I could help you out with these. I would only need to know what Items the player finds in each Dungeon (hammer, bow and arrow, etc).

Im a big fan of Zelda 3, and so far, I really like your progress on the overworld Map.

I'm looking forward to it, that looks interesting considering there are not much hacks with music changes... (Except Euclid's one...).

My music is back to the old ones now.

I swear you've done such a better job than me in the overworld.

These dungeons i'm working on is making me go dizzy, it takes so long to make a dungeon! (considering you have to make them "work" with the keys, link up, make sure rooms ain't "impossible" etc)
