| Those of you who like Ico might be pleased to know that popular Japanese writer Miyuki Miyabe has completed her novelization of the game. You can order it from Amazon,co,jp (put "ICO" in the search field; English letters are fine) for Y1800. I and a few others are trying to translate this into English since there are no firm plans for that yet. | The book has well over 500 pages and isn't exactly casual reading -- lots of flowery vocabulary that even native Japanese readers have to look up. It's a lot of fun, though -- Miyabe invents a whole backstory for Ico, the village, Yorda, and the Queen. I really like it. Keep frequenting that board for updates! |
