| That is such a good question! with the new era of VG music remixes out there, it shot the castle themes of SMW over SMB1's swimming, past SMB2 and SMB3's ending, and now it runs neck and neck with SMW2's ending. i guess i get a kick out of beating a game to the point that I subconciously associate ending music with happiness. |

I have many favorite musics. From: Super Mario Bros/The Lost Levels = Bowser's battle musics; last Bowser's battle music; Bowser's castle; the classic music. Super Mario Bros 2 = Wart's room. Super Mario Bros 3 = boss battle; doomship; world 2,7 and 8's overworld musics, Bowser's battle music; the music of the magic whistle. Super Mario World = castle; bonus room. Super Mario Kart = the music of the credits. Super Mario Kart 64 = Rainbow road. Super Mario 64 = the desert music; last Bowser's battle. | There are loads of great music in Mario Games: SMB1/LL: - Classic Theme and Underground Theme I have to disagree with the Castle theme because it's too 'hyperkinetic' for my taste SMB2: - Actually there's not a theme in here that is worth remembering in my opinion.. but Wart's Room has to be the one I can save from the lot. SMB3: - I agree with Mario Maniac on these ones. One of the best soundtracks in SMB history SMW: - Ghost house, Bowser's Battle, Castle Theme SM64: - Last Bowser 'Castle' SMW2:YI - Underground Music, Castle Music (my favourite castle music) , Big Bowser Battle SMRPG: - Geno's Woods, Battle Against a Smithy Gang Member, Axem Rangers Theme (it's actually a remix of SMB1 underground Music) , Battle Against Smithy (#1, 'Santa Claus' outfit), Marrymore, Mushroon Kindgom, Booster Tower (Second Music). That's about it  |

| *blackhole89 likes the Lost Levels theme (which is a remix of the SMB1 title/swimming melody), the SMAS-SMB3 swimming and world 6 soundtrack, SMW's castle theme, YI/SMW2's Big Bowser fight theme, and (these probably show the limits of the N-SPC engine) following SMRPG tracks: - barrel volcano theme (extremely ambient and fitting) - bowser's castle 2nd time (probably the best bowser's castle music ever) - weapons factory theme (gr00vy.) - fight against culex (better than the FF original  )- sunken ship theme - cloud land theme / "let's do the fluff-fluff!" - cloud castle theme - smithy gang theme / "here's some weapons!" - road theme #1 (fits.) - SMB 1-2 remix / "from inside the earthen pipe" (best adaption of that theme. ever.) omg. these are fucking much. forgive me  but I'm just a great fan of SMRPG's soundtrack. (ok, ok, I'm a great fan of *RPG* soundtracks, that is, of nearly all RPG soundtracks.) |
