| "If you are summoning things so will I." Luke starts playing another song. It sounds like it should belong at the end of a climatic battle. A wyvern shrieks from a far off distance and flys into view. The wyvern starts attacking the eagle and Luke charges the goblin. "Schwa I will finish with your pets and then it is your turn." |

| The eagle (called a Sparky Eagle) is sent spiraling to the ground after one hit, but regains flight and takes to the air. It shrieks again, and a bolt of lightning comes down on Luke again, though this time it's accurate, stopping him in his tracks from hitting the goblin. Then, ironically, the goblin runs up and whacks Luke with his own flute. "How 'bout I up my ally's abilities? Blessing of Attack!!!" (echo effects) Schwa holds a hand in the air, and red sparks start circling the Sparky Eagle, upping it's attack power by 50%. Schwa fires a quick series of weak energy bolts at Luke to finish his move. "That wyvern is so majestic... too bad it's a foe, not an ally." |

| Luke falls back from all three attacks as the defence bonus wears off and lets the wind carry him to the ground. The wyvern returns from the attack as Lukes starts to play another song. This song has a visible effect on the wyvern and Luke. They both seem like blurs as the move again to attack their enemies. "Can't hit me now." With the combined for of the speed the flute would do massive damage. The wyvern tried to get in posiition and uses ice breath on the eagle. Both attacks seemed to be used very fast as the Ballad of the Thief continued to help the fighters. |

| The blow to the goblin was so powerful it knocked it out, and the ice-breath killed the Sparky Eagle by freezing it solid. Schwa was amazed at how fast his foes were moving, but wasn't too upset at he watched the third wisp activate... ...and turn into another Flute Goblin! Only this one is wearing orange robes with jagged white stripes down the sides. He smiles wily, and attacks Luke, moving so fast he's a blur (just like Luke). In less than a second, he hit Luke with a powerful bash with his flute, and had also returned to Schwa's side. "And now, to make my Quick Goblin even more invincible, Blessing of Defense!!!" (echo effects) White sparks start circling the Quick Goblin, upping it's defense by 50%. "Isn't it wild when someone uses your own attacks against you? Don't worry about it, there are no more wisps left to bother you. There is one mighty fast goblin, though." The Quick Goblin smirks a toothy smirk and pats his weapon, the flute. |

| Luke raised his own flute in time to stop the blow. Luke laughs as both him and his wyvern stop blurring. "Not when they doen know how to use my attacks." Luke starts to play another song on, but this time on his harp. The Ballad of the Chocobo was a very fast tune, which seemed to lightnen the earth itself. Luke jumped high into the sky and then used the wind to throw himself down at Schwa trying to hit Schwa for once. The wyvern seemed to fly a lot faster as it became lighter. It almost matched the Ballad of the Thives speed boost. It hurled itself down at the Quick Goblin trying to bite through it. |

| The Quick Goblin blocks the wyvern's bite by bashing it in the mouth before he attacks. Schwa, tries to block, too, using the ether around his hands to psychically deflect the blow. However, he blocks in the wrong spot. "Oof! "Fine, if you're too fast for me I'll just throw off your balance. Gyrowell!!!" (echo effects) Schwa throws a ball of ether in the middle of the fray, which transforms into a ball of pulsing, magnetic energy. This ball pulls everything in, and although it isn't super strong (Luke and the Wyvern could easily resist), it would be enough to throw off the balance of anyone in midair, unless they used expert skill. "And here's a hint, Luke. I can detonate this thing whenever I want. Another hint, the well doesn't affect good ol' Schwa, or his goblin." |

| OOC does it effect everything or just metals, because I don't think Luke has any metal. The wyvern is slowed for a momet because of the sudden surprise, but it releases a blast of fire breath on the goblin. Luke jumps back and away from the orb as he starts playing another song. His wyvern joins him on his sholder. After the song is finished the bard prepares himself. "That was Bahamut's Hum again, but this time my wyver will get the effect too." An energy blast came from the flute and headed towards the orb to detonate it himself. The Wyvern who didn't even check to see if it had dispatched the speedy goblin also aimed and fired, but it aimed at Schwa. |

| OOC: Everything except magic, psi and energy is slightly pulled in from the gravity well. Luke's energy blast hits the gravity well, but the attack is simply absorbed, making the well grow brighter. Schwa gets a little upset for some reason. "Uh, Luke, don't do that too much, okay? If that well detonates by brute force, the explosion will me over 100 times more powerful and will end the battle in a draw." The wyvern's blast closes in on Schwa, but the Quick Goblin dashes in front of him first to parry with his flute. The parry doesn't work too well, and the Quick Goblin is hurt. But then, the goblin looks at his flute curiously. Then he seems to be contemplating something. "Uh oh, you didn't give him an idea, did you?" Schwa askes. But the goblin's done thinking. He starts playing the same song he listened to Luke play, hoping for an energy blast. Doesn't work. "Meh. That creature was only created with the attack the wisp studied, so no special bard powers. Well, I think this calls for a game of catch!" Schwa points to Luke, and the gravity well starts to slowly move toward Luke and his wyvern... the closer it gets, the more they can feel the pull. |

| Still with the Ballad of the Chocobo helping them they easily got a safe distance away. Luke started playing Bahamut's Hum again having an idea. "Schwa if I go down you will too, but I think I am fast enough to get away." The song finished and this time they both aimed at the gravity well. The beams hurterled towards it. The wyvern also shot a lightning breath at it right after the blast from Bahamut's Hum. |

| "What are you doing?!! You can kill off an entire community by overloading the gravity well! Hurrr... Detonate." As Schwa says detonate, the well does, but not in an explosion. It actually shrinks away into nothing, releasing a shockwave in every direction along the ground. The Quick Goblin and Schwa leap over the shockwave, unharmed. The shockwave dies out before it gets to Luke and the wyvern. Schwa seems ticked. "You're so clueless it ain't even funny. Well, to teach you, I'll use some moves I only learned a few days ago. Go, Emotional Rockets!!!" (echo effects) Schwa focuses, and around him appear three tiny cones of energy; a blue one, a yellow one, and a red one. They hover over Schwa's shoulders. "This blue rocket is for joy, yellow for sorrow, and red for anger. They work best when launched one at a time. They're locked on to your spirit the same way Alpha Psibeam was, but each one has a vastly different effect. "First, let's launch Joy at you and see what happens!" Schwa points his fist at Schwa, and the blue energy cone flies at an incredible speed at Luke, homing in on him. A shield appears around it as it flies, stopping elemental-based attacks from intercepting it. |

| "Great, I don't have time to block it." The Wind's Glory effect wore off from the shockwave and Ballad of the Chocobo wore off because the time expired. Before the rocket got to close to Luke though he told omsething to his Wyvern who shot towards the goblin. This time the wyvern used a wide spread Ice breath. "Ok Schwa, lets see what you can do." OOC: Where did Star come from? ...Hee hee, you made a typo.  Check it out.As the note is played, the blue cone wavers a bit but still closes in at full speed. It hits hard and combusts into blue glitter, but Luke doesn't take any damage... Suddenly, great memories of his life flash through Luke's head for a moment. It's a great feeling! Schwa seems happy, too, and when the effect wears off after 3 seconds, Schwa explains. "The Joy attack, when it hits, brings up good memories of your life instead of harming you. The joy from your memories released positive spiritual energy, earning me back some of my health. Thank you! "Now for a completely different feeling. Ready? Release the Sorrow attack!" Schwa holds the flat end of his hand toward Luke, and the yellow cone takes off at Luke in the same way as the blue one did. The Quick Goblin gets ready for a parry if necessary. OOC: Yeah, there's a healing move in there, but it's kind of considered an attack since I had to hit you for it to work. And it didn't heal much, anyway. I thought it would be fine. |

| OOC you forgot about Wvyerns attack and that error got past me somehow. Fixed it though. Luke laughed at Schwa this time as his wyvern released the breath attack at almost point blank range. The ground froze within 20 feet of the wyvern as the breath seemed to roll on the ground. "You should no Schwa I am a carefree person. I doubt this one will work." Luke ran forward seeming to meet the rocket, but no matter the effect Luke kept running towards Schwa ready to attack with all his might. |

| OOC: There was a shield around the cone that blocked all elemental-based attacks, as you'll see if you check a few posts back. Only physical attacks can block these cones, but does Luke know that? Or will he figure it out? As the Sorrow cone strikes Luke, an incredible shadow of depression falls over him. He almost feels like giving up, but the depression lasts only 3 seconds. It does, however, leave Luke afflicted with a slow condition. "Sorrow leaves you so depressed, yow wind up either poisoned or slowed. Good thing it wasn't poison, though. The outcome would depend on who I'm fighting. Now, the most powerful force is about to strike... Anger. This emotion has claimed the lives of an uncomrehendable number of loved ones. Let's see how well you handle it. It does damage equal to more than double that of Alpha Psibeam." Schwa thrusts his palm out toward Luke, as the red cone launches itself at his foe. |

| OOC: Well, if he attacked the goblin at point-blank range, the goblin should be frozen solid, eh? The Anger attack misses Luke thanks to his speed. Schwa makes a gesture with his hands and the red cone swerves, changing it's target. It's now homing in on the wyvern! The Quick Goblin is frozen solid thanks to the wyvern's close range attack, but is trying to break free it seems. (Hard to tell since it can't move.) Schwa launches an attack on Luke as he closes in with his mad dash. "Crimson Bubble!!!" (echo effects) A red bubble filled with red wisps starts circling Luke in the same way Azure Bubble did. Then Schwa realizes something. "Hey, what exactly happened to that Azure Bubble? Maybe I forgot to finish charging it up so it disappeared. Oh well. Crimson Bubble is even better than Azure Bubble, as it actually does damage..." |

| "Wyvern you have finished your job so you can leave now!" Before the red cone could hit the wyvern seemed to disappear. It was gone at Luke's order to leave. Luke didn't care about the bubble he kept running towards Schwa and jumped into the air and came down trying to bash Schwa over the head with the flute. |

| BAM! Schwa falls over, seemingly out cold. But, unfortunately for Luke, this action triggered Crimson Bubble. The red bubble grows bigger, then shrinks as it fires all the red wisps out at Luke. He recieves damage equal to the amount Schwa recieved, which is a LOT. The bubble disappears this time instead of recharging. Schwa slowly gets up. "Heh, didn't want you to think you could beat me that easily." He fires an energy ring at the ice chunk, breaking it and freeing the Quick Goblin. The upset goblin runs back over to Schwa in a fighting position. "Good thing I gave it Blessing of Defense a while ago, huh Luke? Too bad you shooed off your wyvern. It makes me mad to think of all the damage I have to endure to get my attacks to work right. Oh, by the way, LOOK OUT!!!" Too late. The Anger rocket, which had switched targets again right when the wyvern was leaving, hits Luke right in the back, unleashing its awesome power over Luke. Instantly, horrible visions of death and destruction flash through his mind, a world of nightmares. He recieves over twice as much damage as Alpha Psibeam from the visions. Schwa looks at the ground, a little upset. "I sure don't like using that attack. But how else am I supposed to defeat him?" Schwa walks over to Luke after the attack is finished. "Are you okay, Luke? Just so you know, that hurt me more than it hurt you. Let's finish this battle with honor." |

| Luke was barely standing after the combined forces of the attacks, but still something drove him on. He knew he made a mistake by letting his wyvern go, but he would rather feel the pain then his friend. "I have an idea that may make you mad..." Luke starts to play another song a very scary song. Every not coursed with power as the song could easy be heard within a mile. The song Luke had refused to use on so many occasions came alive within him. The red cone had sent him over the edge with it. The Epitath of the Bard was played. "Now I don't think either of us will be able to concetrate. At least as soon as the song sinks in." |

| "Fine, I will hit you with my ultimate attack before then." Schwa kneels, looks at the ground, and holds a tight fist into the air. Suddenly, the ether around that fist turns fire red, and spreads over his whole body. Schwa's entire body starts to grow brighter, and brighter... mystic energy swirls around him, being drawn towards his fist. "You're an awesome fighter, Luke," says Schwa's telepathic message. "I'll hold this battle in high regard. I look forward to the day when we can fight side by side instead of against each-other. Good luck with the rest of our battle." |
