In my hack, I have two star portals. One is in the main OW, the other is in the Star Road submap. My destination #'s for these two stars are as follows:

Main OW Star:
Exit Index: 00 (Overworld Map)
Destination: 01 (Star Road)

Star Road Star:
Exit Index: 01 (Star Road)
Destination: 00 (Overworld Map)

When I use the star on the main OW, it leads to the correct location on the star road map, but when I go back, it leads to the spot on the Vanilla Dome submap where the star used to be. It don't have any settings for the Vanilla Dome map with these two stars, and I deleted the star on the Vanilla Dome map, so I don't know what the problem is. Any help? Thanks.

Now that is just weird...

I would probably recommend deleting the Star Roads and replace them. That might do it.
