I would first pay a group of people to design a system that would play 1024 bit games. (whats the highest now anyway?) Then I would take zelda OOT, Zelda MM, and FF11. I would get the designers to merge these games into 1 mega game. The OW (like hyrule field) would be gigantic. Big enough so it would take approx 2 real time hours to cross. You would start the game off with epona, and this would all be interactive like FF11. Meaning its like virtual reality. You could pick individual blades of grass if you felt like it. The game would have a rating (E, M, T etc) higher than any other game in history because of how interactive it is. There wouldn't be any, well think of the sickest most disturbing thing you can, that stuff probably wouldn't be in it. There would be characters from all sorts of games that you could interact with. You could buy homes, rent hotles etc. In the home you start off in you can sit on the chair infront of the TV and play all the classics like Mario Bros, metroid, Donkey Kong, etc. This game would pretty much be like real life.

BTW, Instead of face mapping, there would be body mapping. I would pay a group of people to set up stations all around the world with body mapping techniques (they do exist by the way. I saw it on Daily Planet [discovery channel] lol) where you could get your body scanned for a minal fee.

This game would probably cause alot of issues, but I think it would be fun. Oh and my design team would have a master copy that could edit the game however I tell them too, and that would change everyone elses game too.

In order to do this insted of a system that plays new games. The game and system would be one. Meaning that the game is built into the system and could not be removed.

i'd remake sapphire and make a lot of new features- all regions, all areas, new areas, more glitch pokemon for this reason;
if a future version with new pokemon traded w/ it you could get new pkmn to it and the data would be "downloaded," replacing one of the glitch pokemon. the new pokemon would even appear in the wild. and people would be shocked at the new pokemon since it didn't exist/wasn't discovered before...
and i'd put the missingno glitch in again;
cities have no wild pkmn data for grass. put grass in a city, put the catchy guy in a city, fly to an area with no wild pkmn data (grass) and there you go. of course catchy guy would have to work the same as in red...i'm experimenting to see if i can recreate this glitch in silver...

Thank god he's banned so I can flame him now
I'd remake Smash TV as well. Imagine, having a big ass gun and running around in a huge arena just killing shit. Like Unreal Tourny, but with like, 50 enemies and 1hp. Giant boss characters, intense battles and a multitude of guns would make for a nice game, IMO.

Again, i'd love to see all the NES SMB games turned 3D if possible.

Any 2D Zelda game could be neatly turned into a 3D one.

WWF attitude for Playstation was cool because of the unusually large amounts of different characters you were able to make (my favorites being Ronald McDonald vs. Micheal jackson). They weren't perfect, but nowaday you could make'em perfect. So in other words, not so much a WWF remake, but a Celebrity Death match concept.

what about...oh, I don't know, a VR suit for DDR? Dosn't seem to practical, but it would be one of the trippiest things....hell, any bemani-game with a VR suit...Drummania (thats what its called right?) with vr...like you are actually in front of an audience with a band playing with you, and instead of just the regular boo, miss, good, etc comments from the game, you know how you do by crowd responce....hehehhehe, that would be badass

Yeah, it would be badass, but then Dance Dance Revolution isn't exactly dancing, Karaoke Revolution isn't exactly Karaoke, and Drummania, while being relatively similar to actual drumming, well, a lone drummer is pretty unorthodox for a crowd attraction.

I'd remake something like the original Balloon Fight, that game kicked ass. Or River City Ransom, but it looks like it's been done. Go figure, eh?

Ok!

Lufia - The Fortress of Doom. Such a nice RPG, put in some extra items, extra dialogue and a better battle system, great.

I'd remake DDR Ultramix, so that the timing wouldn't be off and the announcers wouldn't be annoying.

ah yes. I'm fairly good net acuaintences with Mathew Valente, the musician on that project...hehehe, from what he's shown me (as far as audio goes), this project will kick some serious ass.

Zelda II: Adventure of Link.

With an "Zelda Gamecube" style of graphics, gameplay, and such.

However, you would be able to jump. God I loved that.

You also learn the spin attack, up and down stab, and such.

The game would feature 20 Temples, last one in the original would be remade to incoororate the NEW equipment.

You can get the Hookshot, Bow (With different arrow effects,) Longshot, Mask of Truth, Epona, and much more.

Like in the original, there would be paths, where the player is safe.

However, you master equipment, based on how much you use it. A standard player that uses all his equipment, and fights battles would gain max stats with much hassle.

Also, it wouldn't go by level, but by percentage.

*Drools* I would LOVE a game like this.

I love this topic.

If I could remake any game, I would definitely redo Kirby's Dream Course! It is for the SNES. Has anyone played it before? It's a minigolf game starring your favorite little pink hero!

If not that, I'd hire programmers to make it possible for hundreds of sprites at once in SMW. ...
