| for me it was on the second snow level in super mario 64 my hat was blown off but it landed on a snowman! (or what there names are) when i tried to get it the snow man jumped up and got it on his head then when he got down in the snow again he took the hat with him. it took like one year before i knew you could run around the snowmans to kill them! | Let's see... I can probably name a few things that was very bad for the self-esteem when playing some various Mario games. First off, in Super Mario Bros. 3, I just love it when you struggle through the levels in the later worlds, and then you end up dying right in the fortress. Then you have do the Mario spin back to start. Yup, that was frustrating at times, especially in World 5... Another thing, in Super Mario 64. Collecting the 8 red coins in some of the worlds was painful and I just loved it when I died when going for the last one. I'm pretty sure there are quite a few other things that I can say, but those are pretty irritating to me. Maybe besides the fortress in World 8. Damn that place had me stumped for a good while! |

Super Mario 64, the lava level. Inside the volcano, working your way up the sides, when a goomba pushes you off in to the bottom of the volcano and you die before you can reach the start  (edited by Kyouji Craw on 07-02-04 10:56 AM) |

| That isn't bad, that just means he needs to look better. Bad would be finding seven coins then falling off a cliff accidentally. Also, the one he missed is probably under the area with the pipe to Bowser. Just saying, that's the one most people miss. | |||

| Mario 64, DIre Dire Docks, I'm going for the 100-coin star. I get 99...AND GET SUCKED INTO THE DAMN EXIT THAT TAKES YOU RIGHT OUT OF THE CASTLE. I think I once also got stuck "above" bowser in the original SMB. |

He'll also give you a different triple jump - you flip when using it, and you bounce upon landing. Fall down a long ways with it, and you won't take damage, though you will if you bounce, then fall. Then he jumps in to the waterfall  |

The worst thing that's ever happened to me while playing a Mario game was when I was playing one of the water levels in Mario 64, and I go to grab a star but my air runs out. Then I find out that's the last life, and I get a game over. Then I get super pissed and punch my cat, who shrieks and scratches me all over the face. Now I have scars all over my face and my girlfriend dumped me because I have a messed up face and I abused my cat. Then I became depressed for several months and got into drug use. From there my life went down hill and now I live in a cardboard box with no job or life... all because of Mario 64!! Thanks a lot Nintendo!  |
