This will be the only demo. The next release will be the finished version. These levels are made to be fun, and shouldn't be too hard for SMW vets. This is not a challenge hack, it's a fun hack, and doesn't require fifty million savestates to get thru. Good players shouldn't have to use any. I don't. Screens: I don't really want to fix this, I like it (the plants) Sorry, but future levels will be better. This hack has minimal ExGFX, and is based off of Demo World with SMB3 and 1 music www.handishhax.itgo.com I need feedback! As much as possible, and if you have glitches screens would be preferable but not neccisary. Constructive criticism is OK, flaming is not. Good: There's a glitch that does (blank) in level (blank). Could you fix it? OK: There's a glitch in level (blank). Fix it. No: I found a glitch that does (blank!) OMG! Bad: Your hack sucks because you have this glitch here. It drags it down to the level of a mongoose. Awful: OMG This is Piece of S&%@! Fix it cuz it sux! WTF LOL BBQ!!!11!1one!!!!1! PS: Read message blocks in Iggy's Castle. Handish... You should know better than this... Objects are placed terribly, things aren't exactly well-synced, and you know those spikes above the candles that looked so cool? They're glitched sprites The point is to AVOID graphical glitches, not to include as many as possible... I've taken screenshots and will edit this post when I upload them. As for you're saying it gets better after the first world... So what? A newbie who's just downloading random hacks to take pointers will more than likely just be scared away by the way this is made... "If you want us to play all the way through your hacks, make the beginnings good. I don't care if you "got better as you went along" or if "you saved the best for last", your beginning had damn well better be at least as good or I've got no reason to believe there's anything good at the end, and thusly no motivation to make it through to the end, whether there's something there or not." I'm not saying some parts aren't good, I'm just saying... Well, you could at least TRY to fix up some of this stuff EDIT: Yeah... This doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out. I've seen this same exact subscreen... Well, actually, when I saw it it was a goal mark question sphere in there, not a key, but the key wasn't far. Also, in this same level you have a door that leads to a pipe that leads to a goal point question sphere that leads of a cliff. You... You just can't do that... The overworld could be better, but I won't complain as most people don't edit the overworld at all their first time. What is that thing supposed to be, anyway? I can't tell. Additionally, when you first pick up the star in the intro screen, there's a horrible, grating sound before the theme you have for it comes... Nice job on getting that soundpack, though, it's fairly rare. (edited by Kyouji (edited by Kyouji "Kagami" Craw on 06-29-04 12:14 AM) |

I like the look of this level. The only real problem is the gap in the logs below the leftmost window. |

Yeah, I wasn't exactly expecting you to redo the overworld. |
