| Sometimes whenever I enter a thread or something it will say the page is not found try to refresh thing. I refresh see the back ground appear then the same page comes up. Is this just a problem with my internet or a problem in the boards? | |||

| I'm assuming it's your connection AND the slowness of the page at the same time...yea...there's pretty much not a lot you can do about that other than trying to refresh...I used to get that when I had 56K and a lot of times it would time out and say that 'PAGE CANNOT BE DISPLAYED'. I'm not exactly sure if there's a way to change a page's time out length or not...but if you can figure that out, that's where I would start...otherwise just keep refreshing and hope for the best. |

| There are always the options of using another browser, looking up some info on tweaking the shitbag that's IE to suit your needs, or something. I'm on 56K and I don't usually get these problems... it might be wise to disable layouts if you have not done so, seince you jmight get that off of, say, someone's CSS on a shit server.  |

| I get this problem on BB occasionally. I click the link, and the page is -S-L-O-W-L-Y- loading, then never does. Then I hit refresh and the page pops up instantly. I say its just the fact that the internet is just slow sometimes...  |

| On the old board it was annoying in IE sometimes, because then in the preview window you couldn't change the post in the same window again (so you had to to press the back button in your browser); usually no problem; but IE sometimes tends to empty the information from the post forum In Mozilla Firefox and Opera you have the ability to block specific images; so if a layout annoys you, you simply block his/her server the image comes froum. It may not solve the problem since it only blocks the page for YOU, but at least it prevents something like broken CSS/layouts to mess up the loading process |
