Aggh! If I'm not the only one here who's starting to hate MSIE... This is quite unusual. Every time I try to download a file (building, city, etc) from the Simcity 3000 unlimited exchange, IE says "Your security settings do not allow Web sites to use ActiveX controls installed on your computer. This page may not display correctly. Click here for options..." Going into the security menu and enabling every feature there is still won't let me download anything. What's up with this wretched browser!? Is there an option that will allow all activeX controls & plugins to run? Edit: Oh boy, this is FAR worse than I thought. The game itself isn't working either. I'll need a patch or something to make Simcity 3000 Unlimited work in Windows XP. (edited by theclaw on 06-28-04 04:07 PM) |

If you have a Simcity 3000 Icon somewhere on your desktop, right-click it and hit Properties. There should be something in there about a Compatibility Mode. Try changing it to Windows 95 and see what happens. |
