The program is out of date now...so it wouldn't work. By the way, I think me means about his birthday. Happy birthday. (edited by Anyako on 06-26-04 10:12 AM) |

The scary is how the death clock is based of how long time people lives in a certain BMI group. I'm not sure about my BMI thought. XP Gotta love Star trek! I'm still not sure what they base stardate around. (edited by Kitten Yiffer on 06-26-04 03:52 PM) |

Unfortunately for the Stardate clock it's complete bull. Swap that to 2006 and already it's stardate 6000-something...I don't even think Star Trek anything has got that far in history yet. |

It's not bull. AFAIK, stardates only go up to SD 9999. Then, another series of dates is used. If you need to specify, use the [xx]yyyy.z formatting. ST:TNG is in the 20th run. There's a much better program available for Linux with a much better, more official formula, but that's only for Linux. Although... Kon-Tiki just ported it to Win32 for me I might release it. Edit: The realtime clock says it's SD 4486.9. The CLIT tool Kon-Tiki ported says it's [-29]2329.17. Note the negative run number. Edit 2: I just GOT to combine these into one. I shall port the tool's formula to VB6 and write a RTC! (edited by Kawa-oneechan on 06-26-04 04:05 PM) (edited by Kawa-oneechan on 06-26-04 04:06 PM) |

I feel the need to scream "KHAAAAAAAAAAAAAN!!" at the top of my lungs for some reason. You can say all you want about The Next Generation having better, well, everything than the original series, but there's no way Patrick Stewart could have pulled that line off. |

Aside from his Shakespeare roots, that's gotta count for something. Scream along now. On a side note, I'm releasing Kon-Tiki's port of the proper Stardate program! Don't forget to read the docs or all you'll get is today's stardate (SD [-29]2329). Get it here. It even adapts to the changes in rates that were introduced over time! Samples stardate, nothing at all. SD [-29]2329. stardate -g [-29]2329, the original output, only without time. Note that -g is for Gregorian calendar. 2004-06-26T19:12:00 stardate -s 2005-06-26, today next year [-29]4150.00 stardate -s1 2005-06-26, today next year, only one digit time precision. [-29]4150.0 (edited by Kawa-oneechan on 06-26-04 04:28 PM) |
