OMG, HEXXAGONAL GROUND, UR DANGEROUS!

That's not a bad SMB 3D render though. At all. Well...negating the fact there isn't a Mario running around to make it obvious.

To be honest, I was distracted at first by your avatar. It's funkay...

As for the Mario pic, it looks nice. The block steps look a bit too far back, like they were almost in the background. If you were going for that, great. If not, just move it into the foreground a bit, and it's perfect.

Looks great... although I find the black mountains a bit odd-looking. I personally like the light-green mountains that are usually used better.

Everythings so... smooth and shiny.

And I agree on the block thing. Your land is so 3D and the blocks are so... not..

very nice! it looks very kirby crystal shardsesque to me a little. but i think a nice glossy 3-d mario jumping over the gap would look cool. u could even add a koopa.

curious what did u use to make it?

The mountains should be gray! GRAY I SAY!
Other than that I love it, any chance that rom will be hacked to use this style? Cause that would be awesome!

Took the words out of my mouth, although with me it's not the color, but the way they look.

Flat against a '3D' FG. Eh.

Awesome.
You should delete those "squares" from the mountain's texture, though.

Yeah, the mountains were done with another texture I did, that was more suited to ground.

Needless to say, if I continue with this, I'll fix the mountains.

Yeah, I like how the water flows around the platforms rather than just in the gap.
