Which series was the best?| There were a few Sonic animes that I remember, one was based off of Sonic 2, one was darker and more about Robotnik taking over the world already and Sonic trying to free it, and finally there's Sonic X now, based off of the Adventure series. I'm sure there's another one but I never saw it, so I can't give a description. So which one's the best? | Sonic The Hedgehog 2 Anime |

| Personally I thought the Dark Sonic anime kicked ass. I always loved the whole using a power ring thing, and "roboticizing" people. It needs to be brought back, for sure. Sonic X is ok though, I like the japanese voices, just not the official dubbed ones, at least, not Sonic's or Tails' anyway. But yeah, Dark Sonic gets my vote. |

Indeed, I wish there was a third season of it. Though I never knew it was anime. Of course, when you're 12, it's 1993 or 1994, it's Saturday morning, you don't care for details.  I loved it, and probably still would if I could watch it again. |

| I used to love watching the darker version of Sonic on Saturdays. It was one of the only reasons why I got up in the mornings. And it was also around the time when I was collecting the comics, too. |

| i remember those dark sonics...it was on ABC if i remember correctly. I think that series is the best out of them i've seen. SonicX has been ruined for me due to tail's voice and the other Sonic I recall with the two robots robotnik had as lackeies was okay but it was the same repetitive stuff all the time... it seems the one on ABC actually had a story too it... | |||

I don't remember the difference between the Sonic 2 ones and the darker sonics. I don't know if I even watched the darker ones before. I didn't pay attention to what channel it was or I just don't remember. It was too long ago  Maybe it was on ABC. All I know is that I like the older one that I watched before way more than Sonic X but I'll watch Sonic X every once in awhile(edited by Bella on 06-25-04 05:54 PM) |

| That's the one. Problem is it was called Sonic The Hedgehog like all the others, so I needed a discriminating factor. Best thing I could come up with was that it was more sinister than the rest, hence the Dark Sonic name. | |||
