The ornate dragon head turns around with a certain urgency, and its unusually bushy eyebrows raise with irritation.

Jargon: Oh yeh' kids again? I tell ya' if I were younger I've given you a licking. Little kids these days have no idea how hard life is! And if it weren't any different in my days in Hyrule . Back then we used to get to the market every day at the crack of dawn and find.. your... zzzzz....

The head turned around and slouched over as if the force of gravity was just too much to sustain.

Snore...

Hikari groaned as she frowned at the reincarnated boat version of Jargon.

Hikari: Even as a boat, he's off his rocker. Hyrule? Ugh. Well, where are we? The background music of this place sounds a bit friendly. I need to get this hat cleaned up and maybe a shower.. all this salt water's murder on my hair...

Farid: Would you get off me, already?!

Hikari hops off the boat, and wades in the shallow water.

Hikari: I was going to, anyways. Sheesh. Hm.... "Market"... Maybe we can find a shop or something around here. I'd like to see if I can find a weapon around here.. something that can let us take care of that giant bird. There's no way I'm gonna let my little sister there.

The round, purple creature looked at the red boat. There's no motor... nor any oars...

Hikari: Well.. Here's a cheap boat for us, no need for having Miss Pirate firing us out from a catapult again.. We just need something.. like a motor, or a sail...

Hikari pulls JDavis out of the boat. She continues thinking of ideas as she drags JDavis around the cove and towards the island town.

The island view opened up to a hilly path around the edge of the land to the entrance of the town. There were a few tall trees scattered around, as well as patches of flowers. There were three little pigs frolicking, and two little girls giggling next to a flower patch.

Hikari: Man.. we've got a long list of items to get... I hope the guys that were supposed to get the treasure atleast got some...

((Wow... That was an interesting joke setup ))

Hikari puts her hand to her forehead and shakes her head in shame.

A few moments later, Hikari noticed Farid was walking past them, holding a sack full of items giving off a clinging sound.

Hikari: That had better not be all of the treasure...

Farid: Ah, relax, will ya? I'm just gonna use up my share.

Hikari: ... You know this place?

Farid: Of course, miss.

Hikari quirked a brow at the sweet talking.

Farid: 'Tis Windfall Island. There's a school.. and an one hour photo developing place... and a potion maker.. and lots of places to buy shiney things!

And with that, Farid continued towards the town entrance.

Jarukoth's stomach growls as he walks into town...

Jarukoth: "Speaking of cheese, I'm really getting hungry. Where can a guy get a bite to eat around here?"

His walk quickly turns into a run as he spots a small pub nearby. However, as he draws closer, he can see a sign that reads, 'NO NINJAS' in big bold letters.

Jarukoth: "Ah, geeeeeez...."

((Ack! Sorry I'm late everybody))

Napoleon attempted once again to pry apart his eyelids, but they felt like they were gravity's personal playthings. The weight of Atlas felt on his head - Needless to say, Napoleon wasn't feeling like the best cigar in the box. However, by some divine miracle, his eyes opened with a jolt.

Green blurs polluted his vision, and Napoleon cursed slowly in a language that might as well be exclusive to him.

Hikari looked at Jarukoth as she walked by the pub.

Hikari: Uh... are you like, old enough to go in there?

The purple girl looked around the marketplace. There were a few gossiping wives here and there, lots of fruit and veggies being sold, and of course, plenty of shiney objects.

Hikari tried out a few different weapons from one vendor; she swung around a mace; she tried to lift an axe, barely managed to let go of some musical, enchanted hammer. She settled with a sword that seemed to have a nice grip to it, with a seemingly thick core.

Hikari: I really really like how this one cuts through the air with that cool blurring effect...

"Uh.. Knuckle.. I think you're getting to close to him.. He.. he seems to be a frightened..."

A person was squatting next to Napoleon, giving him a worried look. It was a bit unusual to see a person like that out in the middle of nowhere. Judging by the way the onlooker appeared, a gust of wind could have easily knocked out the fragile person.

Napoleon soon noticed he was on a tiny island, not even enough room to have a decent run on. There were some nice green patches of grass, and an unusual tower on the north end.

"Are you ok, mister?"

Napoleon gave a curious, somewhat indignant eye to the strange, fat little man dressed in an embarrasingly-tight-around-the-waist blue suit that was standing just over him. With somewhat of a lazy push, he managed to sit upright and jostle the knee-high out of his personal space.

Napoleon: Sacre bleu.. Vat' are you miniscule little fleas doing living on a rock in 'ze middle of ze' ocean? Don't yoo' have any ambition?

Just as he was speaking, a fat man dressed in red hobbled over to Napoleon and held an apple dangerously close to his mouth. Although Napoleon resisted, the only way he could turn was unfortunately staring directly into the crotch of one of these strange fat dwarves -- a grave sight that could wilt a flower.

Napoleon's eyes felt suddenly enormous and the world spun to a close around him once more.

Teddy: Woah-ho-ho! Check it out!!!

Teddy hopped off his seat on Hikari's head to get a closer look at the row of weapons. He was particularly interested in the variety of staves available.

Teddy: Nice ... what's this?

Teddy's gaze fell on small staff, although it was still sizably bigger than himself.

Teddy: "Magical Staff ... can turn into any staff-related weapon you wish. Just give it a twirl and think a happy thought." Oooo, a disclaimer. "Disclaimer: No pixie dust required ... this weapon is not used for personal hygiene." Hmmm ...

Hikari tilts her head, allowing her bangs to hang off to the side.

Hikari: That sounds like a good weapon. I think you should stick with that.

Hikari continued to look around and noticed a box containing a boat motor. With some modifications, it could be attached onto the Jargon boat hybrid...

Hikari: I can't believe this tiny place has it all!

Knuckle: This is the place where fairy magic is made!

Voice Atop the Tower: Why don't you try helping us out, you lazy bum!

JDavis, meanwhile was checking out an assortment of quivers. Finally, he found a green (almost turquoise) golf bag that was about his size. After removing a golf club with a bent shaft, a baseball bat with a large chunk missing, a cricket bat, and a hockey stick, he removed his shield and tried it on.

JDavis: Oooo a nice fit, and this strap is quite comfortable. Hey, shop-keep, can I see a bundle of those arrows?

Eyeing JDavis with clear suspicion that he wasn't going to be able to pay for all this, the shopkeeper handed him the bundle of arrows. JDavis placed them in the main part of the bag, and was quite pleased with the results. The arrows didn't stick out the end of the bag, like they would with an actual quiver, but the feathered ends were right at the opening, easily grab-able.

JDavis: Perfect. And with the pockets on the side of this bag, I'll be able to store other stuff as well. Hmm... But I can't carry the shield and this... Not that I'd realistically be able to use the shied alongside my bow and arrows anyway. *glances at Hikari and Teddylot for a sec* The thing's so large, I'm barely able to use it, so giving it to them's not gonna work. Hey, shopkeep!

Shopkeeper: *sigh* Yes?

JDavis: How much are you willing to pay for this shield?

The shopkeeper looks at the shield for a second. Though slightly dented in a couple spots, it could clearly withstand mostly anything that could be thrown at it. He then looks at the bag and arrows JDavis has been looking at. The arrows aren't really worth much, and it's not like he'd get a very good offer on that shabby old bag any time soon.

Shopkeeper: I'd say it's about an even trade.

JDavis: Sweet! Deal!

Teddy went up to the register and hopped up onto the counter so he could have a more direct conversation with the clerk.

Teddy: Pants!

Shopkeeper: Pants?

Teddy: Yes ... do you have any pants?

Shopkeeper: Sorry, we don't sell pants here.

Teddy: No pants?

Shopkeeper: No pants.

Teddy: What about that pair of pants over there?

Teddy pointed over to a roughed up pair of jeans in a display case just behind the shopkeeper.

Shopkeeper: Those are not pants.

Teddy: Not pants? They sure do look like pants.

Shopkeeper: Those "pants" are actually a pair of magical jeans once worn by a legendary hero.

Teddy: Not pants, huh?

Shopkeeper: No, not pants. Just jeans.

Teddy: Sooooo ... how much for those pants?

Shopkeeper: ... ten pants--uh, I mean--ten pieces of silver.

Teddy: Ten pieces of silver? For those pants?

Shopkeeper: Yes.

Teddy: ... Umm ... you, uh, didn't say 'pants' ...

Shopkeeper: I know.

Teddy: Ah ... just checking.

Shopkeeper: *raises eyebrow* ...

Teddy: ... pants.

Shopkeeper: ... are you buying the pants or not?

Teddy: Of course, I'm going to buy the pants. Just put it on my group's tab along with that "magical staff" in the front window.

Shopkeeper: The staff that casts thunder-based spells?

Teddy: No, no. The staff that can change into other weapons ... the one with the weird disclaimer.

Shopkeeper: Ah, yes ... that staff.

Teddylot: Yes, that staff.

Shopkeeper: Very well then ...

Teddylot: ...

Shopkeeper: This converation is done.

Teddylot: Yeah, I was starting to get bored with it.

Teddylot hopped off the counter and began browsing for anything else he might want ... or need. A giant of a man in more ways than one stepped up to the counter.

Man: Do you have any pants?

Shopkeeper: No.

Teddylot: *yells from a distance* Well, you should put some on.

OoC: Sorry for the long post. Couldn't help it. =P

Hikari: *pats Teddy on the head* Don't worry. You'll get your stuff. Where's Farid? We need to get our share of the money.

Almost as if on cue..

Hikari: Hey, boy. We need the bag full of treasure now.

Farid: Aw, you don't want to see what I got? It's just about the coolest thing ever!

Farid holds out a pair of tiny wings. They seemed to be made for a doll.

Hikari: .... Um... sure... The bag?

A piece of cloth slaps the purple girl in the face.

Hikari: Hey, what's the big idea? ... Huh? Wait... This was the bag... HEY! YOU SPENT ALL OF OUR TREASURE ON SOME STUPID WINGS!?

Farid: You mean my treasure. I didn't see anyone looking and actually getting treasure.

Farid fiddled with the wings as he walked towards the entrance of town. Meanwhile, Hikari's mouth was just hanging.

Hikari: But... I.. OOOOH!!

Hikari: Yay! Thank you so much, JD!

The purple creature hopped up and hugged JDavis. When she landed back on the ground, she turned around and skipped towards a vendor wearing a parka. She rustled through the bag and looked up.

Hikari: Hm...

Parka Wearing Merchant: I came across cursed seas from a land far away... a land where the blizzards blow violently... heading for this town called Windfall. But dear me! As I traveled, a terrible storm descended and tore my ship to bits... yet mysteriously only that escaped without so much as a mark on it... From the looks of you, I would say you are a traveler as well. Oh, yes indeed! ...Could you not purchase that from me? It is my one and only heirloom from home. The people in this town do not seem the least bit interested in that, despite the fact that it would help them travel the dangerous seas about their town... Please! I beg of you! I wish to open a business here in this town, so I am in desperate need of finances. How does...80 rupees sound?

Hikari: Yikes! That's kinda...

Parka Wearing Merchant: How about 50?

Hikari: Well... It's a lot more cheaper than that motor.. .... fine.

Park Wearing Merchant: Yes, yes! yes! Thank you very much, indeed! *hops and spins around, holding up a purple rupee* I have received precisely 50 rupees for it. *stands normally* I can use these funds to finance my new business! Oh dear me, what a happy day! Very well, young master... As I promised, please! Take it!

Hikari hops and spins around herself. A very tough cloth with an interesting looking insignia in the center hovered above her.

Hikari: This is kinda.. hard to lug around... Eek!

The sail covered Hikari completely.

Hikari: *muffled* Yeah... I think I'm gonna go back to the boat now, since this is all I can carry.. Here, Teddy, take the rest of the money. You can get yourself some pants.. or something.

Teddy caught the bag of money and jingled it around a bit. The bag was quite light. The teddy went to the window display and removed the magical spear, then he went back to the clerk and tossed it onto the counter.

Shopkeeper: So, it will be this and the pair of jeans?

Teddy: Yeppers.

Shopkeeper: How will you be paying?

Teddy tossed the bag of money onto the table.

Teddy: Will that cover it all?

The clerk took a monocle out of his pocket and used it to examine the bag's contents. After a bit of calculating, he looked up with a dull face.

Shopkeeper: I'm afraid not.

Teddy: You don't look scared.

Shopkeeper: No, this will not cover your expenses.

Teddy: No?

Shopkeeper: Yes.

Teddy: Good.

Teddy swiped the jeans and the spear from the counter, then promptly followed Hikari out of the store.

Shopkeeper: You're supposed to ... nevermind. J-just don't come back. *monocle pops out of his eye*
