What are some of your favorite Animes turned video game or vice versa? I personally really like the Cowboy Bebop game because it really captures the fell of controlling Spike.

Errmm...I dunno about CB. Considering it's not even out on the market yet and won't be until October. It depends if Bandai screws up the game or not...but they're usually halfway decent about getting one out.

I think the last one I got anime-wise is the last Inuyasha fighter that was out on the PSX. Other than that I've got the Ranma

Does Tekken count, ince it is an anime...of course, I think the game came first, as well as Street Fighter...I would have to go with the PsX InuYasha fighting game, then.

There's two important ones that stick out... .Hack and Zone of the Enders. Two franchises that have taken advantage of anime being popular do boost videogame sales in Japan.

Yeah.. it's a really really underrated strategy game.. and it captures the awesomeness of mecha and somehow makes tons of different series and characters work together.

Zone of the Enders was an anime? I didn't know that . I guess I'll count the Tekken series as one and of course Street Fighter. I remember Fatal Fury had an anime movie but I didn't like it much.

CB game? Never heard of it.

Berserk. There's one for DC, but they are making one for PS2.

In other news, Final Fantasy.

Some of you guys are going too far into the Video Game to Anime category xP. I kinda like the category Video Game stuff inspired by Anime but that isn't taken from Anime , Masoukishin - Lord of Elemental fits into this category, it's a really cool SNES game and a part of the Super Robot Wars universe.

The Tekken anime movie was terrible, with the exception of the use of Stabbing Westward in the soundtrack.

And I think there was a Cowboy Bebop game released in Japan already (a different one than what you're talking about). It was described as resoundingly average.

So I guess there's little that actually makes the transition from one to the other successfully (As with not-anime movie-to-game or vice versa) in my book.

The PSX Cowboy bebop game SUCKS.

With that said, SRW is definetly one of the best you're going to get out there. The full metal alchemist game's supposed to be pretty good too.

Yea, I finally got SRW Alpha Gaiden back up in my collection. (Thank you, Emule!) You know its a cool game when you have the Getters from Getter Robo G face off against Marasais and Byarlants from Zeta Gundam.

Personally, I think that a lot of the Gundam videogames work out to be really good times. I mean, I own Gundam Battle Assault II, and even though it's kinda hard, I still think it's one of the betetr games that I own, and it only cost 10 bucks!

I just hate when they try and make anime shows into 3d games with Polygons (with a few exceptions).

I'd like it better if they used cell shaded Graphics (Like DBZ Budokai 2).

Personally, the video game based on an anime that I am really psyched about is UniversalCentury.net: Gundam Online.

Click "UC Live" to check out screenshots at the bottom, and click "FAQ" to read about it. Although the FAQ says that right now, nothing is official about an outside-Japan release, it seems very likely that they will release it in North America.

Here are some other really cool shots.

You know it's a cool game when you have GX-9900 with a map attack that has infinite range () and you get to kick Shuu's ass really early.
