Try downloading ad-aware and see if a scan with thgat solves the problem. Other than that, try searching your registry for WebDialer. (edited by Emptyeye on 06-21-04 05:10 PM) |

Then you proably have a trojan virus brining them in. Norton wont find it, you need to run a Panda Scan. It will take about 5 hours but it FIXES EVERYHTHING!!. Viurs wise. Panda active scan That should take care of all of your problems, you shold stay away from P2P networks |

Have you tried Spybot Search & Destroy? It can help immunize your system against some known threats as well. http://www.spybot.info/ |

Spyware sucks. My dad just re-booted the whole computer and it's coming up with pop ups every once in awhile again. This pop up filter for Net Zero isn't getting it. I wonder why though . They're not the normal type of pop ups or something. Some pup up and say that I could be infected by spyware crap. My dad got some stuff from that spy bot site but I don't think it worked..Most of the time it's the same pop up about I-pod or some college online stuff. (edited by Bella on 06-28-04 09:10 PM) |

I suppose you can also try HijackThis! [Do a google search, I'm lazy] and try using "MSCONFIG" [run menu] and checking the startup lists... I usually disable everything besides Explorer, Systray and Pulse. Oh, yes, if you'll show me what it looks like . . . |
